Characters: Alex and SamAlex rushes out of the black dorms and into the centre of the campus and wanders into the mercantile quarter. He wanders throughout the various shops with no plan and no idea of what to do really. He couldn't even start to think of how he felt about Becca, and she was ready to tell him how she really liked him. Could he actually manage to return those feelings? Did she expect him to eventually...? He couldn't process it right now. It was happening too fast, but he also left her with no answer in her room. What was she feeling? It couldn't be easy to have the person you like walk out on you. He couldn't say he really knew, he never really had a crush on anyone.

Location: Mercantile Quarter
Summary: Alex hasn't been eating properly for a while now, and with added stresses his body finally gives out on him.
Warnings: Possibility for some abuse-related triggers.
He was too busy trying to calm his reeling mind to notice the worsening headache, dry-mouth, or the pain in his stomach reminding him to eat. The headache and dry-mouth at least were normal for him now. He figured it was from needing to teach a class, not because he was not eating enough or properly. He stumbled down one of the streets, heading towards the main shop to ask Recette if she had any pain-killers.
His begins to have tunnel-vision, even if he wouldn't even know to call it that. He stumbles after a moment, loosing his feet from under him. He collapses on the street, falling almost slowly as he tries to hold onto consciousness.

After a beat he seems to have gotten a handle on his surroundings, looking to Sam. He peaces together what he heard in his half-roused state and takes a breath, "o-oh sorry... I-I'm fine...." He smiles at Sam, laughing a bit nervously, "J-just stressed..."

"I-I think... m-maybe... 'm n-not sure, really." He never really felt hungry, so it shouldn't have been a problem, right?

After seeing the trolls and the grey pony with the blond mane, Alex decided to just roll with whatever else he discovered here. He wasn't exactly normal either, after all.

After a breath he half-frowns, "I-if keeping your diet was a DNA th-thing, I would h-have ta be eating shadows."
