On the platform: Meet the neulings

As you all crowd onto the platform, which is drenched with sunlight though the air is cool you are met by six girls and eight boys. One of the boys seems to be a blue Hedgehog; but the rest all seem human. All twelve are in uniforms that would match if not for the colour differences - skirts and trousers, waistcoats, and light summer shirts that seem totally inappropriate for the chill. Some seem irritable while others look excited. Each has a beret with a crest pinned to the front - eight depicting a shield on green, the other seven a sword on red.

At the first lull in the chatter, a frail looking girl with a shield on her cap steps forward.

"Excuse me, may I have your attention please!"

She explains that the eleven of them are the current prefects of Rakuen, representing the two schools on the island. Nanami (she gestures to herself), Lelouch, Yuri, Sonic, Jade, Sora, John and Rebecca of Fortitude; and Santana, Flynn, Kevin, Gino, Suzaku, Golbez and Cirno of Conquest.

The introductions are over fast and the girl named Santana seems impatient, "So come over when your name is called so we can all get inside." They all move to stand in two groups some distance away from each other; two girls step forward and begin to read names from a clipboard.

Cirno, the Conquest Prefect starts, "Welcome to Rakuen! I'm Cirno and when I call your name, Come over to me."

The Fortitude prefect, Rebecca, follows after, "So uh...hi. My name's Becca, I'm one of the prefects at Fortitude. Uhm...so yeah, you can ask me anything if you need to, but mostly everything's covered in the rulebooks you got. You should read 'em. I'll take you to the dorms. So c'mere when I call your names...."

[Have a troll grabbing Becca's arm and sniffing her face curiously.]

YOU ARE A HUMAN! You smell nice, hehehe! [She licks Becca's cheek and cackles like a madwoman.]

[The moment Terezi touches her arm, Becca mostly freezes. The only part of her that's still moving is her mouth, and she screams in pure terror. She stays still for the lick, panting and trying not to hyperventilate in fear.]

Yes Terezi, terrorizing your prefect will get you very far.

[Well, it's not like that's a new reaction. Not everyone likes getting licked by strangers and you'd think she'd get the point by now. With a snort, Terezi continues her investigation, sniffing over Becca and poking her from time to time, and then some licks in there. She may or may not be nibbling at the hair too. Mmm, licorice.] Calm down, you are so loud! This is a very dignified investigation, you know! [Yeah. Sure. Dignified.]

[outtahell]

[ Well at least this time you won't get licked, right? Dean doesn't look particularly enthused about the situation, but he does come towards Becca when he hears his name called. ]

Dean Winchester. [ Raises his hand. ]

[greenspaces]

[ Since Becca looks a little distraught, have another (tinier) prefect bouncing over. ]

Hi! I'm Jade, it's nice to meet you.

[outtahell]

[ Wow, bitty. ]

Likewise, kiddo. [ At least kids he can handle well enough, despite weirdass situations. ]

[Santana is the head Prefect and she's making sure everything goes smoothly when she hears his name]

Hold up, who are you?

[outtahell]

[ Dean can't help but quirk a brow at the reaction, and is torn between backtracking elsewhere or answering.

He settles on answering, after briefly eying her warily. ]

Dean Winchester.

Right, welcome. C'mon, it's this way.

[still tense after her encounter with Terezi, but she heads off nonetheless]

[outtahell]

[ He trails along after her, glancing back in the direction they'd come from before back to her. He caught the tail end of that, and of course he can't quite let it be right off. ]

You all right?

[Well here's another gawker. He's got a big hat on, but it doesn't really go with the suit he's wearing at all. He scans over the group from the train, and then he lands on Dean. His derp kind of takes over for a moment.]

You're Dean Winche-- [He clamps a hand on his mouth. But then it suddenly hits him. He's gonna have to be careful. If a vampire could get paler, he just did.]

[outtahell]

[ The reaction is... interesting, to say the least. Different from Santana's, but not one he hasn't had before. He can't help but raise a brow. ]

Has everybody heard of me or something? [ Look at it this way: at least he comes from before he was changed into a vampire for a bit there. He doesn't have an even more intense hate for them, and won't go about staking anyone. Yet. ]

[As he hears his name, Ein steps forward. He'd sort of had the feeling that he was being expected, but it hadn't been anything solid at all.]

[She offers up a smile to him, it's strained but really there.]

[And that really confuses her. Have the small child sized girl fly over and poke him with the clipboard.]

[Other than a loud honking noise, sounding a lot like a bicycle horn, he doesn't really move at all.]

[ She struts over, fists clenched and body puffed out. She's ready to attack if need be. ]

I'm not taking orders from you. Tell me where the fuck I am and what the fuck your deal is, and maybe you might come out of this with your face still intact.

[She floats backwards, waving her hands and clipboard out infront of her.]

I'm just doing what they told me too....I just am here ta welcome and bring people where they go.

[Freaking out Cirno is a go! She's already expecting people to hurt her for a whole other reason but this reason is new]

[ Before she was off the train -- and she was one of the last ones off, so thorough was her examination and subsequent transformation -- she had already assumed the guise of the troubled maid, shaking slightly at all the new sights and sounds.

Aly's mind was already whirring -- she needed to find pen and paper immediately, to write everything down and make sense of it. A giant iron carriage? No, the train, she'd have to remember that and do more research on trains in her spare time.

However, the face that Cirno sees is one of a panicky maid, properly dressed and hair pulled under a cap. ]

Please, m'lady, send me back! [ She's almost begging when her name is called, Aly Homewood. She knows that's not her real name, but for some reason she can't figure out what that is... oh well, not important right now. ] My young mistresses, they'll be so worried...and oh, the Lady Sarai so recently disgraced, it'll be a sight if I'm not there to calm them.

[Arthur had been on the platform looking for anyone else that he might know, he was told that chances were probably small, but they did exist. Some worlds were more popular targets than others. He didn't know who he wanted to find on the platform, but someone would be better than no one. Maybe. But there was no one.]

[Except for one girl speaking of 'm'ladies' and 'mistresses' and 'Ladies' which made him think that maybe, just maybe she was from the same place as him, or at least some place similar. So he approaches her carefully, the last thing he wanted was a frantic, crying woman yelling at him for one reason or anther. He had enough of that while dealing with Merlin.]
