Tower shenanigans

As before, I will be taking command of the actual battle. Players, you have a responsibility to all of those around you to collect the weapons with the most compatible upgrades to your battle style and spreading them to your battery of Weapons. Dual wield penalties did not apply during the previous battle. Draw a sword from someone and put it in the hands of someone that can use it best. There was also an elemental advantage enjoyed by some weapons during the last battle. When we know what that is, those weapons with that advantage are of the highest priority. Those with swords will be the front line, and those with ranged weapons will be the second. If we maintain and even, strong, steady line of attack against it, we will surely win.

I'm not interested in entertaining any criticism anyone may have regarding my suitability for this role. Either listen to what I have to tell you and be assured of victory, or ignore me and be defeated.

Not all weapons that have short ranges are swords, and not every weapon that shoots things has a long range.

If specific weapons have upgrades that change their form or make them best suited for an opposing role, then those specific circumstances will be accommodated.

However, those are remarkably uncommon, and thus not a part of the primary paradigm at work here.

To piggyback on what Jade's saying, I have a spear and my friend Jane has a fork. Not swords. Still short-range.

That's mean. Just because some people's weapons are cooler than yours doesn't mean you shouldn't let us fight.

They would serve a melee role on the battlefield alongside swords, unless they have upgrades that make them better suited for long-range combat. I would have hoped you two would be able to find a place best suited to you without my needing to list every probable weapon form.

It's not nice to be specific and leave people out like that. If you're going to be a good leader you should learn how to include everyone! And sometimes that means being more general than saying swords.

Someone can draw my sword and take it with them. It's a flaming sword and some other sweet upgrades. But I'm not going anywhere near the battle--I have a heart condition and getting spooked makes me pass out. I'll be in the way and hold you all back.

Aw, too bad. I'd take it but I'm in Conquest. Sorry about that.

It's fine. A weapon who's capable of wielding a sword can take mine, I've got a player I can ask him to draw it and hand it over before things get started.

I'm a Player, though. Will that still work?

I don't think so. You can touch my sword, and if we get the warning penalty, then no. But if it doesn't count if you're not touching me then whatever.

I guess we'll have to try it out then.

Someone'll be able to use it, though. It's worth helping out.
