Characters: Jade Harley (AU) & Sis Strider (AU)
Format: w/e
This log is: closed.
Location: Jade's room, Ice cream shops. YOU KNOW.
Summary: Jade is extremely baffled and upset at the arrivals this time around, and Sis is here to comfort her the best that she can.
Warnings: Sis Strider needs her own warning label.
It wasn't any different than any other time in Rakuen. The time where the train comes and drops off the new arrivals. Sis hadn't much cared to go see who was there this time as it usually gave off displeasing results. No one she knew, or cared to get to know. However it seems she had made a grave mistake not going to at least moderate the interactions.
A simple text from Jade with 'Sis can we go get Ice Cream?", followed by Sis responding "Where are you?" had circulated a response in less than a moment. She was out of bed and walking towards the prefect dorms like there was nothing standing in her way. She climbs a tree, leaps on to the top of the buildings and has successfully (not for the first time) snuck onto the prefects campus.
A little window off to the far side, and she's perched on a window sill, knocking. "Jade. Jade, let me in." Wouldn't want to get caught or anything.

She gathers up her crutches and hobbles to the window, opening it for Sis. The other girl is free to notice the new, spiffy brace on her wrist (thanks Jack!). "Hi."

"Jade." Sis steps in the window and ushers Jade to sit back down. "What's the matter?"
no subject
"There's another Jade, I don't want to go outside, and Jack Noir broke my wrist." That about covers it.
no subject
"You don't want to go outside because there is another you?"
no subject
"The alpha me."

But to Sis, this Jade was the real Jade. Whether or not she believed it or not. "I'm sure this other you doesn't want to establish some type of dominance over you. That seems farfetched, and completely out of line for another you."

She shrugs. "I don't know. We're not the same person. She's not me."
okay yes i found a tag i didnt do >D
"You're the real Jade to me."

She scuffs her good toe on the ground, saying nothing more. As much as the sentiment should mean, she can't bring herself to recognize it as real.

On that note.
"I'm taking you out. Whenever Dave was upset as a child, I'd take him out for ice cream or a milkshake, how does tha sound?"
no subject
Jade looks a little startled, but nods. "Um. It sounds really nice. You'd do that?" She's never had a sibling or a parental figure around for long enough to do something like that, at least, not in a very long time.
