[Becca's been putzing with her PDA, so when she opens the door to Shion's room, it's already on, at a weird angle, but her voice is clear.]

Hey Shion, so what are you pla--

...Shion?

[The PDA clatters to the floor and lands at an angle, propped up against the wall. It shows an empty room and Becca on her knees, holding an upgrade ring and a memory charm. The video cuts out as she bursts into sobs.]

They took my brother. And now they've taken Shion. I'm going to burn it...

[gathers up her stuff and heads to the store to get fire-starting materials]

Becca. Becca, listen to me.

[ He slides away from the kitchen he's in and starts walking back to the campus. ]

Do not do this. I've seen decent men fall victim to impulses because of their suffering. Do not be one of them.

[She sounds kind of out of it, she's reached that scary place where it hurts so much that everything is peaceful and clear (even though it's actually quite twisted).]

I'm going to burn this place to the ground, then we'll be free....

[She's headed off campus, to the store.]

If we burn the school down, it can't hurt us any more.

What about the people inside? Everyone's shelter and belongings? Destruction doesn't solve anything -- the mechanics of this world will remain the same. The only thing you'll do, is make your fellow students a ceiling poorer.

[PDA into bag, Becca's going into the store. There's a bit of shuffling about, then Becca takes the PDA out again to make room for a newspaper and a box of matches]
