Summary: Practice makes perfec- Okay no. Makes the fairy a bit better at fighting.

Cirno sat at the edge of the lake, closest to the forest. She was waiting for her friends to arrive so they could try and practice. She had her rucksack sitting beside her and was changed out of her uniform and back into her normal outfit from home and was trying to read a book that she had brought with her.

She also had a a few small bags in her lap, waiting for the two she was waiting on. She figured it would not hurt to help out with the reason they came here and just brought them both closer to being a Prefect. She wanted to protect them both from what had happened to her so far and was hoping this would help that out a bit. At this point, she did not know what to expect from this. Even though Both Yuka and Sanae seemed to know her, she could not remember how they might know her and why. This bugged her but she shrugged it off so far.

So she sat, looking through the book, waiting for everyone to arrive.

Meanwhile, back at Conquest...

Yuka was dropping by her room to pick up the two upgrades rings she'd found the previous day. She frowned as she looked at the second ring. She'd since found it's information in the Exaclan manual, and to say she found the symbolism dismaying would be an understatement. But even though the details weren't entirely clear, it sounded like it would probably be helpful. She wasn't inclined to give up an advantage for something so ephemeral.

As Yuka arrived at the lake, she spent a little while just looking out over the water. It was very clear and pretty. She wondered if there were any interesting plants living in it... She'd have to see about getting a swimsuit sometime.

A moment later, she saw Cirno not too far over to one side. Seeing that the other girl was reading something, she decided not to call out. Instead, she just collapsed her parasol and went over to sit nearby.
