Location: The second tower they opened
Summary: Jade and Dave go into the tower to explore. They find a Weapon they aren't really too keen on finding.
Warnings: Dave's language, probably cute shenanigans, and probably very sad ones too

The fact these two hadn't explored the new Tower together yet was surprising.

But now they're standing in front of it, hand in hand. Dave had been a little less excited to go to the any of the towers at first, with them carting off corpses to it like sacrifices. But they didn't have any dead bodies of any kind, so this shouldn't be bad, right? What's the worst that can happen?

Not that Dave can't back out at this point, Jade holding his hand and tugging him after her. He would walk side by side with her, but he's supposed to be acting like he isn't actually interested in going in. Gotta look like he's just kind of there because he can and totally not because he wants too. Nope, not excited at all. He's just nonchalantly dragging himself along.

She's dragging him really, tiny arms pulling her equally tiny boyfriend across the threshold. "Come on!" Her voice echoes ominously, but Jade doesn't even seem to notice.

"Hello Shadow! We're here!" And since she's addressing it, the shadow's echo gets even more terrifying; three voices joined as one...was that Dirk and Jake? No, it couldn't be, a play of the sound in the strange room. "Where do you want to look? Maybe upstairs? I don't think there's anything on this level..."

Jade keeps meaning to tell Dave what she bought last rest day -- and now they're standing inside of the tower, and she realizes that it has completely slipped her mind until just now. But first, she wants Dave to see the inside, since he wasn't there for the dead body disposal. There will be time to talk about her purchase later.

Wow. Holy shit. He's like five seconds from turning tail like the most scared puppy in the world. This basically falls under creepy as shit and probably under staring at horroterrors and listening to them.

There wasn't talking shadows last time they went in here...

Dave nods when she mentions going upstairs. It'll just be like the first tower. Ain't nothing.

And no, he really doesn't want to see the corpse you got. Why would you even.

Jade notices that he is kind of hesitating, and drops back to lace her fingers through his. "It's okay. You don't need to be scared, I'm pretty sure the shadows are friendly."

Gently, she takes a step forward; if he doesn't want to go, then she'll just stand with him at the entrance.

But that doesn't explain why the tower is talking to them! But he still heads inside, anyways.

As long as the Tower doesn't constantly talk to them, he should be okay. Just...is this because you guys keep sacrificing bodies to it? He remembers Dirk mentioning it before and being invited.
