So I guess we know now what happens when you sacrifice three corpses to the tower.

Everyone might just want to stay out of the tower in the arena until this is cleared up. If you go in, you wind up in a mirror boss fight with a shadow version of yourself.

If you leave and go back in, it keeps happening. I wound up fighting mine four times just to make sure. But on the plus side, if you beat it there's a chance it'll drop a memory charm. I got three of them, all from, like, alternate universe mes. I don't know if that's universal or not. Anyone else have data they'd like to submit?

((OOC: After consulting with the mods: A memory charm definitely drops after the first fight; on each subsequent fight, there's a 50% chance of a charm dropping.))

You know what's stupid here? Acting like this is such a big deal. Funny how texting works. If you weren't acting so off your game I would never have known anything was up.

[No fuck you. He's just holing himself up in the dark room for now.

He's got film to develop and he's totally ignoring you now.]

[ He knows you like to hang out in the dark room, Dave.

He's heading over there right now. ]

[Dave is just crouched over one of the enlargers at the moment, focusing it and deciding what he wants before slipping photo paper under it

He's got his headphones over his ears and plugged into his PDA now, probably setting the volume as high as he can without totally killing his eardrums.]

[ Which is helpful! Dirk can hear the sound coming from the headphones and carefully makes his way over to Dave.

And taps him on the shoulder. ]

[He stiffens up in surprise, but it seems he's contemplating whether or not to ignore Dirk or not. It's a minute longer before he slips on his shades and turns at the other, but he doesn't remove his headphones yet.

He wasn't having this conversation without the shades to hide behind.]

[ This is Dirk, reaching up to pull Dave's headphones off. ]

[Dave just lets him. There's really no reason to be stubborn about this part at the very least.]

Sup?

[Dave just jabs his thumb at the enlarger he was working with. Obviouslyyyyy he's just working on photos dude. Ain't even a thing.]

How convenient. How long 'till you're done here?

[He glances at the enlarger before holding up ten fingers to signal ten minutes.]

Okay.

[ Dirk steps back, arms folded over his chest, to wait. ]

[Dave raises an eyebrow before slipping the shades off and hooking it on his shirt collar

He fiddles with the timer before finally shutting the enlarger off and sliding a sheet of paper under it. He just hits the timer and waits for it to finish before taking it to the sink with the bins of chemicals.]

[ Don't mind Dirk, he's just going to keep standing here. He's kind of creepy? Sorry, Dave. ]

[It is kind of really creepy. He does his best to ignore the other as he develops the photo. Finally leaving the dark room so he can properly see the finished print after cleaning it with water.]

[ And Dirk follows. He glances at the print to see just what it's of, anyway. ]

[The photo was of King John. it looked like Dave had taken a candid of John while he had been teaching.

Dave just leaves it on the table to give it time to dry.]

[ Interesting. Dirk turns his eyes away from it when Dave sets it down. ]

You're pretty good at this little hobby of yours.

[Dave puts his shades back on before digging out his PDA from his pocket.]

[ It is close enough that Dirk isn't really that surprised by the hobby. ]

Maybe I should give it a shot sometime. Didn't exactly have the necessary materials back home.

But we both know I'm not here to shoot the breeze about photography.

[And Dave was going to be stubborn if Dirk tried to make a grab for it. He wasn't letting the other see what he saw.]

[ You should know by now that Dirk is a forceful, overbearing asshole. But he doesn't know which charm is the newest one, so he just goes to grab the entire bracelet off Dave's wrist. ]

[Dave's reaction is to slap Dirk's hand away with his other hand, putting his arm with the bracelet behind him. Of course, this makes it impossible for him to type, but it was more than obvious that he wasn't letting Dirk just get it from him.]
