rakuen | Visiting a old friend to ease the worries of a troubled mind

After she was able to leave the assembly, Cirno went straight for a spot she had visited many times before when no one was watching her, The infirmary. She didn't even notice if she had been followed or not, not exactly caring if she was. She slipped into one room and pulled up a chair next to a comatose person and put her hat on the bed, her back to the door. She was quiet for a moment before she began to speak.

"Hey Nephenee...It's me again...It's a new round. I'm a player again but I don't think I'll win, Yuka, Komachi, America, Sora and Shion are all players as well. I'm going to try but...A lot of people are gone...there are so few of us left...I'm kinda glad you are still here but don't have to deal with everything coming our way, Like what I told you last time. Although I can't promise I won't do something stupid anymore. I just don't know what yet but I'm sure it will end up with me gettin' in trouble."

She goes quiet for a moment and smiles a bit sadly. She shakes her head a bit and continues to speak once more, her voice dropping to almost a whisper.

"I want to at least be able to say goodbye if you leave so please...wake up. So many people are not waking up or going home, I just don't know who could be next but...Please don't leave me behind. I miss you even though we barely got to talk with each other or work together as a team. You didn't care when I messed up...Please..."

The fairy wipes at her eyes a bit and bows her head, trying to at least compose herself once more. Her body is less tense and upset looking then it was when she hopped off of that stage but still no where near as calm of a front as she had been putting up lately.

Suzaku had noticed how tense Cirno seemed on the stage, and though Suzaku was not okay by any measure himself he worried about his fellow prefect.

He walked into the infirmary just to hear her last words. He recognised the girl, she was a prefect as well; had been before Suzaku. And had been in a coma almost as long. "Ah... no change then?"

Cirno's initial response was to tense up once more but that faded as she understood what was being asked. She shifted so she could turn a bit to face Suzaku. She slowly shook her head no to the question. She looked tired and maybe looked a bit closer to her true age for once, "No...She's still out and not responding. I..I'm scared that she won't though, Just like everyone else who has come and gone."

She glances back to the girl in the bed and is quiet once more.

Suzaku nodded, he hadn't expected anything different. "I hope she does..." It was getting more and more unlikely. "I mean... the fact she has been asleep so long and hasn't faded like the others... that has to mean something..." Right?

"I'd say I hope so but..." The fairy shook her head, She was starting to lose any hope of just about anything of this place. "I just want to see everyone go home where they belong...How are we supposed to do that with so many gone?"

Her wings have drooped a bit and she turns back around, "Do we even know what we are doing anymore...?"

Suzaku was wondering that himself... He felt lost without Lelouch's planning, "We need to open the other towers... We should... see which prefects are available. I have already opened one so..." He didn't think Cirno had though...

They had to keep fighting though, they couldn't give up just because there were so few of them.

"You think the towers are part of the reason we are here?"

Cirno actually looked serious now. She pushed back her worried for the moment and turned completely around, sitting on the chair backwards. "I haven't helped open a tower yet, but I'm willing to. Anything to help figure this out."

Suzaku nodded, "Lelouch thought so..." And it was painful to speak of Lelouch in the past tense.

"What dorm were you in, before you were a prefect?"

"I was in the White Dorm." She pauses for a moment, now starting to wish she paid more attention to everyone's dorms when she had the chance. "I know Yuka was also in White..But I dunno about anyone else. Didn't pay attention really...Do you or someone else might know?"

There is a hint of her excitement on maybe figuring things out slipping into her tone.

"I know a few, Flynn knows more. He remembers everything." Lelouch had known them all but Suzaku hadn't thought to get him to share the information. He wasn't planning for him to disappear.

"Actually thinking of it, Flynn hasn't opened a tower either, if he was in Red then we have our schools group already."

Cirno nods, a determined look crossing her face. "Sounds good. We should try and get everyone together to find out who hasn't opened one over in the other school and then we can try and open another one."

She slips off of the chair and picks up her hat. She was ready to go. The sooner the tower opened the better in her opinion.

"Perhaps we should... have a meeting or something..." They hadn't done anything like that before but surely working together was what they needed to do if they had any chance of getting out of here.

"Someone should post about that on the network...But where would we have it? In town?" The fairy frowned a bit. It had to be somewhere that everyone could be without getting into trouble. "We can find out where everyone thinks the next tower opened should be and stuff..."

She frowns, This was really more complicated then she originally thought. Of course most of her knowledge of it all was second hand...and her showing up to help fight the things that came out of the towers.

"Perhaps if we wait for rest day..." Suzaku was a discard this time, and so wouldn't be able to leave campus. He knew there was probably others in the same situation.

"We could meet in a cafe in town or something... Ask who wants to come on the network."

"Okay. I'll do that.." She pauses and frowns for a moment. She wasn't the best person to lead this, even if she wanted to. "Suzaku..You'll help though even if you have opened a tower...Right?"

She smiles a bit, starting to look like the fairy who stepped off the train so many rounds ago.

Suzaku nodded, "Of course I will." Lelouch had been trying to find a way out and Suzaku had always planned to continue his work when he was gone, different work in a different world entirely but the promise was the same.

"Thank you! I don't know as much about them as you do..Besides..I doubt people would really help me out." Cirno laughs, rubbing the back of her head a bit. She wanted to help lead this but knew better, Not many would follow a fairy into battle.

"I'll put up a post before Rest day and hopefully we will get everyone there." She hoped that people would show up and not just ignore it because 'Oh..it's the fairy again...'

"I am sure they would." They probably had more reason to help Cirno than him, she deserved their help. "I will try and encourage people I know."
