As those who were at the meeting know. We need more prefects if we have any chance of opening all the remaining towers. I have two hundred and two raks at the moment, if anyone is in need of upgrades please let me know and I will ask my current Player to buy upgrades for you.

I-I guess it's b-better than nothing. I have Data Master. Sh-should help a bit.

You have data master? [He had read about that, it was like the information you would get from a Knightmare, but into your own head.]

Y-yeah! One of my others isn' r-really helpful when I w-wield my own shield though. Protect. B-but I also h-have regen an' durability, and dual w-wield, of c-course.

"I have protect as well, and Last Stand which can be useful when fighting the monsters that come from the towers." He told him, of course he had many upgrades that weren't his to begin with; picked up from lost friends.

"I w-would r-rather have my sh-shield used to p-protect my friends, b-but Sh-Shion has a h-hard time with D-Data Master, but w-wants ta use it u-usually." He smiles shyly. He still hopes that he will be able to get Shion used to it, but it served Alex far better than it did Shion.

"I can see it would be confusing if someone wasn't used to using such a system before." Suzaku agreed.

"I-is it?" He had never used a system much like it before, but numbers and calculations made far more sense to him than most other things.

Suzaku nodded, "I would think so. I remember when I first became a soldier, there were some people who struggled with using a Knightmare Frame interface."

[afraid_of_my_shadow]

"Hm..." He found the use of it almost to be a second nature more than something he needed to learn. "D-did it take you a while?"

Suzaku shook his head, "I picked it up quickly."

Meaning he was top of his class, not that it mattered. Not then.

"Huh." He looks around them at all the data flowing in, "I-it kinda j-just m-makes... sense ta me."

"Me too, but some people need things one at a time." He shrugged.

"R-really?" He never fully understood that. He knew it was true, but he was hoping Suzaku might offer more information that might clarify things.

Suzaku nodded, "Yes, one piece of information and time to process it before they can take in another. There are plenty of people who are alright with lots of information at once though."

[afraid_of_my_shadow]

"I-Interesting. I-I didn' know that...." He takes a moment to digest the information before smiling, "I g-guess I have th-that issue with understanding p-people."

[swordofzero]

Suzaku shrugged, "Not everyone is good at understanding people either." Alex was doing better than Lloyd at least. "The most intelligent person I know is quite open about the fact he neither understands nor cares about the people around him."
