Location: In the cafeteria. Amazing, isn't it? He goes there now that the SC office is closed.
Summary: Apple bunnies! The ex-Student Council President is making apple bunnies. And failing miserably.

[ There's one (1) young man seated at the far corner of the cafeteria away from people's usual line of sight, looking rather preoccupied. On his right is a plate of sliced apples, looking rather haphazardly done with a chainsaw, and a small bowl of cool water. On his left is a small medical kit with strips of paper that held band-aids littering the table. He holds a paring knife in his right hand, slowly carving away at one of the slices. Every five - or less - minutes, he winces, sighs and continues on.

Yes, ladies and gentlemen, El is having trouble peeling apples. What a sad day this is for the world.

A moment later, he finally sighs again and puts down a slightly blood-stained apple bunny, half-peeled with the supposed bunny ears cut awkwardly. He used to be able to do this before he came to this place. ]

I suppose that one's wasted as well.

[Shoujou had been searching for El all morning in all the places he seemed likely to be -- the courtyard out back, the least populated hallways, all the dorm rooms he was able to investigate -- and he'd only resigned to the cafeteria when the hunger from skipping breakfast had become too much to ignore.

Upon entering, he found his eyes drawn to the student in the corner.

Have one (1) severely underbuttoned Shoujou hesitantly approaching your table, El.] Um... excuse me...?

[persuades]

[ He recognized that voice even without looking up. So it would seem that everyone was slowly being brought into this so-called Utopia. Sora Himoto, Tsuki Aoi and now, Shoujou. El wonders who would be next and if this - was something planned altogether by Iwahijiri.

Possibly but what would this achieve, given that the rules were changed anyway?

El sets down the paring knife on the plate and looks up, offering a smile towards Shoujou. Who looked like he had never learned how buttons work. Strange. ]

I can't offer you apples today unfortunately.

[defender]

[Clearly confused, but taking it in stride:] Ah... well, that's fine, I'm not that hungry anyway. [Which is a lie, but Shoujou would never show weakness before El - not intentionally, at least. He casts an eye on the apple massacre, utterly perplexed.]

Peeling apples... did they take that from you? [Pause.] ...El?

[persuades]

Never had blood-red apples before?

[ Another smile before he wraps a hand around a finger to stop one of the cuts he got from bleeding. He gives him another stare from head to foot, lifting an eyebrow at his disheveled clothes. ]

It's just peeling apples. It could have been worse. Like not being able to button my clothes. [ El inclines his head at his name as he picks up a band-aid from the kit. ] I look obvious enough, I suppose.

[defender]

I can't say that I have. [Shoujou smiles back, mostly in relief - he was hoping to avoid a conversation about the clothes, especially after the various disasters he'd had with them in the morning. And of course El would figure it out; El figured everything out.]

Why are you wearing your hair like that? ...you don't have to hurt yourself like that...

[persuades]

It's easier for me to blend in a new school and to get information without having to reveal myself. Especially with Sora Himoto and the others being here as well.

[ Running around as El when he's all by himself . . . That's simply stupid. He was planning on waiting this out until his own Council arrives in this school. And it seems that they were, one by one.

He takes another slice of apple, one that hasn't been mutilated and covered in blood yet, to test out his skills once more. If he had forgotten about it, maybe he could relearn it. ]

[defender]

Himoto...

[Is respectfully silent for a minute, watching, before speaking up.] ...as far as I can tell, memories are irretrievable outside of participating in their Exaclan. I don't know how it works, but I think they erase the memory again if you recall it.

[Shoujou's desperate to know what El's found out, what El's plans are -- to know, in short, what El wants Shoujou to do, but rather than articulate his feelings, he opts for a shorter question.] Um, El, what have you found out so far?

[frozen_desires]

[Tougyu hasn't really bothered with the males in this place since his arrival. Mostly because he's only interested in finding the Shishido sisters and avoiding Sora at all costs. (The latter of which he doesn't do very well since they share rooms and he routinely loses a quart of blood every time he rediscovers she's got boobs, but we digress...)

So the fact that he pauses to take account of Karin's bloodied apple bunnies while passing by is... curious indeed. Have a frown, Karin/El. You are mauling the cuteness of the bunnies.]

[persuades]

[ Well, well, well. One familiar face after another, eh?

Bloodied apples aside, which he had briefly set aside to wrap another band-aid around an offended fingertip - really now, how impossible could peeling apples be? - El lifts an eyebrow at Tougyu's frown. There wasn't even an acknowledgment from him, simply a frown. And it's as if his eyes passed over his face without a sign of recognition whatsoever.

Was it possible that he couldn't recognize it was him, considering how flimsy his disguise was anyway? He tests it if Tougyu would at least recognize his voice. ]

Yes, can I help you?

[frozen_desires]

[The moment Karin speaks, Tougyu's face flickers with that expected realization. He knows that voice. Hell, he doubts there's anyone on the SC who doesn't know that voice instinctively. It's the voice that commands all of them, like the hand of god moving pawns across a chessboard.

Is this what El looks like then? Somehow... it doesn't seem to fit. Tougyu had expected someone more intimidating, someone less approachable, someone with... er... nevermind.

Rather than ask outright, he tilts his head, giving the president a confused stare. He doesn't understand his difficulty in believing this is El when it so obviously is.]

[persuades]

[ El matches that confused stare with a questioning look of his own. He had notice that indication, that Tougyu indeed recognized his voice. And yet the other male was looking at him as if it was not him. Admittedly, no one in the Council knew of this little playacting with Himoto except for Kuchinawa. But then . . . does he really not know it's him?

Not that he's complaining. After all, this has so much potential to be used to his advantage in this new school. ]

What's wrong?

[For a moment longer, Tougyu simply stares at Karin with a searching gaze, before he finally decides to take the direct approach.]

El. [It isn't phrased a question but it is one regardless. If Karin answers with a confirmation, Tougyu will know who he has to follow. If he doesn't, then he isn't him or Tougyu isn't meant to recognize him. Either way, his path seems pretty clear cut.]

[dominates]

[ Finally.

Now to feign innocence or to give a confirmation. Of course, if his face really was a forgotten memory and Shoujou's earlier words were true about memories continuously being erased despite being learned, then it doesn't really matter. He pushes his hair back with a bandaged hand but leaves the eyepatch on. ]

This face, do you remember it now?

[allurprincess]

[what's that, someone she knows made a distressed sound? Sora is there. Or rather, she spotted him from where she was planning to sit, and zipped over.

Isn't it nice that they can meet somewhere so public in safety now.] I've talked to everyone no-- [usdfds blood. Blood on the bunnies.] You're bleeding!

[persuades]

[ Sora has definitely found him. Strange that everyone seems to keep finding him despite finding a seat that was not too noticeable by people. Talked to everyone? Does that mean there's more than one princess in this place?

She stops though and El blinks at her sudden reaction and change in tone. ]

Ah, this? [ He looks down at his hands. Note the band-aids wrapped on every finger. Not a good picture, but he's not going to die from it. Then he looks back up at Sora with a sheepish smile. ] It's just an accident, don't worry.

[allurprincess]

Are you sure? That's a lot of band-aids... [buuut he's said the magic words, so she won't worry.]

What was I-- Oh, that's right. We've decided to improve our weapons first! Tsuki's going to buy everyone rings this afternoon.

[persuades]

Miss Aoi will? [ He pauses. Wait, this was something he wasn't expecting, considering he'd been giving thoughts on what he would buy first. ]

Should I give her my tokens then?

[allurprincess]

If you want to. If you want to buy back your memories instead, that's okay! We've got a lot of tokens between us.

[persuades]

[ So he's getting a free item then? Why not. ]

Are you sure it's all right though?

[firstlady]

[And here's someone who actually knows that Asagiya Karin is El. Not that it matters right now. He had a book on his tray, as well as his lunch. His first priority was to find a quiet place to sit.

It was just very convenient that the quietest corner in the cafeteria was the same table El-- no, he was supposed to be known as Karin right now, wasn't he-- was occupying. Kuchinawa slides his tray onto the table.]

May I?

[persuades]

[ El briefly looks up at the inquiry, pausing from his current occupation of making at least one decent apple rabbit. If he was surprised upon seeing Kuchinawa, then he didn't show it. There was no indication of surprise whatsoever; merely a smile he was getting used to lately.

This place does like to surprise him in the most amusing of ways. First was Shoujou. Then came Tougyu. And now, Kuchinawa. Was there anyone else he missed? ]

[firstlady]

[ Well, if he found himself here then it was only logical to think that other people would have found their way here as well. He acknowledged Karin with a polite nod and sat down.

He opened his book and began to read, frowning at how nothing seems to make sense to him. Why would a princess be in a tower? Where were all these princes coming from? Every page was filled with nonsense, but he knew they had some kind of logic to him once.

He closes his book with a sigh and smiles at that very very awkward looking apple rabbit.]

Do you really have to cut it like that?

[persuades]

[ Another pause to look at him. ]

What's wrong with cutting it like this?

[firstlady]

Nothing.

[a glance at all the wasted apples]

It's kind of cute. [It. That single bunny, standing out against the apple wasteland. Is this supposed to be symbolic bb?]

[persuades]

[ Have a passive-aggressive smile. After a few minutes of more carving the apple and his hand -- ]

When did you arrive?
