Characters: Kevin Smith & -insert name here-
Format: ACKSHUN!
This log is: o p e n
Location: outside the dorms
Summary: Kevin's working through some of his inner demons by doing the one thing he knows best. Play tennis.
Warnings: Possibly some swears, to be updated as needed.
[Anyone wandering out of their dorm and into the courtyard will hear the strange, consistent echo of something smacking against something else in an almost rhythmic beat.
If you bother to search for the source, you'll find Kevin in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt with a tennis racket in hand off to the side of the central building. The source of the noise? It would be that tennis ball he's continuously smacking back against the wall. This otherwise ordinary scene is broken, however, by how violently he's doing it. If you didn't know better? You'd think he was trying to crack someone's skull open with how hard he's hitting that dang ball. Wonder what his problem is...]

Anyways, I'm gonna start practicing again. You can watch if you want but you'll probably get bored.

Sure. I was on my way back to the dorm, but I'm sure I can stick around a little bit to watch.

Your choice. [But he doesn't seem to mind as he goes back to bouncing the tennis ball against the wall. Impressively, he never has to move from the one spot he's standing on because the ball never shifts from it's pre-ordained path against the wall, ground and his racket. Kevin's got some pretty good control over the ball, the kind only years of practice bring.]

Moving into a new stance, when the ball bounces back at him Kevin gives a grunt of exertion before quickly making an upwards slice. There's a solid thud of the ball hitting his racket strings before it- they slam back into the wall. For a minute, it seems as if there's not just one ball being hit back, but three... five... six? Depends on how good your eyesight is.
But that must all be in your head, especially when only one ball bounces to the ground and innocently rolls to a stop.
And strangely? Despite performing a move that defies the limits of his own body, Kevin seems annoyed.] Tch... bad timing.

Well I'll get out of your way then.
