Summary: how do I shot meteor hammer. Teaching time with Gaara-sensei! Follows on from this thread.

[Gaara had been resigned to teaching others how to use his weapon from the get-go. Meteor hammers aren't a popular weapon choice even amongst shinobi, and he only knows how to use it thanks to his ~beloved~ father's extensive and somewhat overdone weapon training. It's an appropriate weapon, but it's appropriate for him, coincidentally the one person unable to wield it in a battle.

He's going to end up very used to this gymnasium, he decides. They gained entry the moment Mikoto came into view - apparently Players get a free pass, no questions asked - and he moves to stand near the centre of the room after leaving his uniform bag near the wall.]

[Mikoto puts down her stuff in the corner and looks up at the male.]

Miroku. It's my sword.

[a nod. If she has a named weapon, she's at least trained in its use.] What type of sword?

Um... two handed. It's really large. [And she uses her hands to demonstrate so. But when she says large, she means tall.]

This weapon is used for long-range fighting. You strike from a distance, catching and redirecting their attacks. You never want to be too close to your opponent. [he shows several more of the simpler strikes and moves, before flicking the hammer back into one waiting hand. That done, he unravels it and hands it back to her with apparent solemnity.

Really? You mean it? [asdjfk she almost drops it again, but give her a little bit. She just needs to get used to the weight.]
