Huashi Sun vs. Lyra Silvertongue

Huashi scratched her neck and weighed the metal weapon in her hand. It wasn't heavy to her, but projectile weapons weren't really her thing... She could do bows, but that was about it. But it wasn't as if she could run around and whack her opponent in the head with this, right? That wasn't how you used a projectile weapon, despite the fact that it surely was sturdy enough for that!

"Uhh. I was really gonna learn this better before I used it, but oh well!" Huashi wasn't really one for contemplating missed opportunities.

Lyra didn't look happy. She'd actually been rather shocked when the blade had entered Huashi's head, and she turned to Gino, looking a little lost.

She wasn't sorry exactly, but she felt a little sick, and it showed on her face. Dropping the weapon to the ground, she held out her hand to the other girl.

As Lyra dropped the weapon, it flickered and disappeared the same way Meryl's gun had seconds before. Battle over. Which, of course, meant that Gino was able to jog over and pat his victorious Player on the back. He didn't seem particularly bothered by Huashi's brief fainting spell. She'd get used to the fighting, he supposed, though stabbing someone in the head was probably a rather bad way to start.

"Good job!"

"Gino, you didn't get hurt, right? When the bullet hit your weapon?" Lyra asked him as she looked up.

"That wasn't as bad as I was afraid it was going to be though," she admitted. Huashi seemed fine, after all.

Huashi groaned again as she used Lyra's hand to take her upright, shaking her head as sparks of lingering pain shot through it. Then she shrugged and jumped in place a bit.

"If I'd had a sword or a staff, that wouldn't have happened!" She didn't sound angry, though, just slightly put off.

Still, she hoped she wouldn't have to take that large a blade to the head again, because the feeling had been distinctly alike the one right before she lost conciosuness... died... when the tiger struck.

He had, but that was okay.

"It was nothing," He waved her concern away, then looked back at his fellow Weapon. "Oi, Meryl, right? Welcome to Team Lyra!"

Oh right. If you won, you got the opponents weapon, as well as another token. Lyra bowed her head politely to her her new Weapon.

"My name's Lyra. Pleased to meet you."

Meryl was a bit confused by the whole system, but she was still friendly, nonetheless. It wasn't like anyone was actually an enemy here, right? Her only real disappointment is that she really couldn't do more to help win from the sidelines.

"Name's Meryl, nice to meet you." She firmly took her hand and shook.

"All right. I suppose I'll get in touch with you in a bit? Unless you want to go buy upgrades or something?" Lyra offered.

"That... might be a good idea." She wasn't going to say anything negative in front of Huashi, but unless she wants that to be a repeat performance, maybe she should be trying to give a bit more of an edge.

"All right. We'll find a booth and get some!" Lyra wasn't sure if she was supposed to spend the money, or Meryl was. She'd figure it out at the booth, she supposed.

"Right." She knew she couldn't directly buy things as a weapon, so she'll transfer what she needs to upon arrival.
