Summary: Tomoko has new shoes! .... New shoes that she can't tie. Cuteness happens.
Warnings:

Tomoko had been very pleased to get new shoes. After....after that nightmare, she wanted something easier to move around in, and her boots weren't doing it. So now she had cute, adorable pink sneakers- and a huge problem. No matter how much she tried- she couldn't remember how to tie her shoes. Or figure out on her own. She kept bunching the shoelaces together and yanking and moving them around in circles, and nothing happened. She couldn't get them to do work the way they should, no matter how hard she tried.

So she ended up just going out for a walk in the courtyard with her shoelaces completely untied. She had fallen twice on her way out, and she was being very careful not to fall again. She stopped to think for something else a moment though, and one foot went down on the other foot's shoelace. When she went to try and take another step, it ended with her on the ground.

Tomoko went on to stare down at her feet. Yup, they were still untied. They hadn't magically tied themselves on her way here.

"I know. It's why I tripped."

"Then why didn't you tie 'em? Or did you forget?" Well, one of her new friends had forgotten to tie a bow, so... Maybe that was a common thing to lose?

[hairwag]

"I know how!" She answered immediately. Of course she knew how to tie her shoes, she had learned when she was a small child-- and then she frowned. "You're right though.... I can't remember..."

[loyal_liar]

"Let me tie 'em, then," Lyra suggested, kneeling down. Thank goodness they were pink, instead of sky-colored.

[hairwag]

"If you don't mind..." Tomoko muttered, offering one of her feet to Lyra so she could tie her shoe for her.

"Just a moment then!" Lyra's fingers were a blur as she started tying the other girl's shoes.

[hairwag]

"A-ah..." Tomoko stared down at Lyra, wide eyed, trying to memorize what she was doing with the laces. "Thank you!"

[loyal_liar]

"It's fine. One of the people I met here forgot how to tie bows, too!" Lyra said.

[hairwag]

"Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one." Tomoko said, before smiling quickly at the other girl. "It was still kind of you to help me though!"
