Summary: [palette swap] Ordering a present for Anya: a day's wait at in the lobby. Realising you've got a camera just in time for everyone to go multicoloured: priceless.
Warnings: Gino.

[Gino is just wandering around the campus, camera in hand, taking photos of everyone for posterity. There's already several of him, in several fetching shades of blue, so you're not alone. Say cheese, he's just snapped a shot of you!]

"Oh!" Romeo grinned, "That's amazing!" He wasn't sure why they didn't have these technology things in Milano but there seemed to be a lot of it here.

"Can I see it, mister Gino?" He said this politely and cautiously, he only wanted to see it and find out how it worked but he hoped the tall man didn't get mad at him.

He handed it over with aplomb. The kid didn't look like the kind of guy who'd break something that easily, so.

"Just point and click," he said, pointing to the button on the top of the camera.

Romeo's face broke out into an even larger grin, "Thank you mister Gino!" He took the camera so very carefully and putting his tongue through his teeth his looked at it. It was so small, he had no idea how it made pictures of people, it couldn't draw, it didn't seem to have any paint or pencils and yet this little box made pictures that looked even more realistic than the ones Angeletta could draw!

"Like this?" He brought the camera up to Gino's face and pressed the button jumping a little at the flash but being careful not to drop it. "Oops!"

Ow. Gino had managed to close his eyes before the flash went off, the light turning the inside of his eyelids red for a second, and when it was safe again, he reached out to point both kid and camera in a less blinding direction.

"Right, like that. But you don't need to hold it so close, got it?"

"Oops! Sorry mister Gino!" He let himself be turned but took a step away before he took another picture of the room in general.

"Look, sir!" He showed Gino the picture on the camera with a big smile, it was a blur of colour and light and didn't really look like the one Gino had taken.

He got a thumbs-up anyway. "Great job. Try taking a photo of that guy over there--" he gestured towards a certain bright pink knight, using smaller movements than he normally would as not to attract his attention.

Romeo broke into a grin glad that the tall man had liked his picture. He looked over at the pink man that mister Gino had pointed at and crept a couple of steps forward before pressing the button again.

"There mister Gino!" The pink man only had half a head and Romeo frowned, "Your better with technology than me, sir!"

"Hah, that's perfect." Another thumbs-up! And then he snagged the camera back with a quick movement and a grin. "You'll get used to it. Ask the desk for a camera sometime."

And then he stood up, brushed off his trousers, and left with a wave. There were plenty more stupid-looking people to document.
