[BACKDATED] Round 1, Day 3
Weapons: Oichi, Kotarou, Gaara Mikoto Minagi vs. Huashi Sun
Location: The Courtyard
Time of day:Mid Afternoon
Considering the online network didn't produce the results she wanted (in a small amount of time, she was growing impatient), Mikoto goes out and announces that she was a Player and needs other players to fight.
First stop on the list is the courtyard where she announces herself as a Player. Huashi, who was with Oichi annd Kotarou at the time, hears Mikoto's declaration and steps up to the plate. Despite practicing, Mikoto’s still pretty new with handling Gaara’s weapon and figured she’s good enough now.
The declaration is said and Mikoto draws Gaara’s weapon and Huashi summons both Oichi and Kotarou’s since she has the ability to dual wield. Without upgrades, the two were matched in speed. But with Kotarou’s Agility upgrade, it gives Huashi the advantage in battle.
The courtyard is a good place for Mikoto to fight with Gaara’s meteor hammer since she needs a lot of space. The most important thing is to keep distance from the enemy. And with Oichi’s double sided Naginata, Huashi needs to close the gap between of them. But until then, Mikoto does what she can to keep the distance either by moving back or attacking to make sure the girl can’t get any closer. And even if the strikes connect, with Kotarou’s Regen ability, Huashi is able to recover.
The two exchange blows. Mikoto is almost confused by her injuries. She’s sure there should be blood, but there is none. The pain is real, but-- she really doesn’t have the time to dwell on something like that. She keeps her focus on the fight. But in the moment she loses herself int he fight, Huashi is able to come in close enough to deal a strike that can render Mikoto unable to fight. And with her speed upgrade, it’s not a problem to close the distance. Despite everything that Gaara has taught her and she’s has zeroed in on her own, it’s not enough. The blade’s end inserts itself in Mikoto midsection. The pain is too much for her to handle and she’s unable to continue the battle.
