Location: Near the woodlands.
Summary: Mikoto’s an unhappy wet cat kind of upset that she lost Gaara as her weapon. And he’s the person she happens to be closest with at the moment… so she’s not taking it too well? She’s failed her brother type figure.
Warnings: N/A

Mikoto is the type of person that if she doesn’t want to found, she’ll make it that way. But considering she doesn’t know the layout of the school that well, she doesn’t exactly have anywhere to go. She lost Gaara as her weapon, but it’s more than that to her. She kind of saw a brother in him, and a younger sibling never wants to fail their older one. It doesn’t mean that’s the end of their friendship, but she’s taking it that way.

She’s in the middle of trying to climb a tree. But for some reason, she can’t remember how and she’s failing… miserably. Never mind the uniform, but her skin is all scratched up. Legs, face, arms… if they’re not covered in cuts, they’re definitely covered in dirt.

[Mikoto is a little bit too focused on climbing the tree right now to notice Mai. She just wants to get away from everyone and up a tree is the closest thing she has to it right now. But when Mai approaches, that's when Mikoto notices. She's an animal, a wounded animal on high alert of their surroundings. Her head turns in the other girl's direction, but instead of running away, she stays her ground. Running away would mean nothing.]

So you've come to mock me, Mai?

[dancingflames]

[Whatever got into Mikoto's head, it's very weird. But Mai nonetheless stops a moderate distance away at that statement in shock.] That's not it!

I just...I just wanted to help you. You're hurt, aren't you, Mikoto? We need to clean your wounds, or they're going to end up infected...

It doesn't matter. [She's not suicidal. Just at the moment, she just doesn't care.]

[dancingflames]

[Mai pauses for a moment.] But...You're a Player aren't you? If you end up sick, you won't be able to fight...They'll take away your tokens, won't they?

[She looks down to the ground.] We shouldn't have to fight, but...tokens are the only way we can get our memories back. Maybe we'll find out why we're here...and how to leave.

It doesn't matter! [She's upset enough at losing Gaara. She just wants to go home and--]

...Mikoto...

...Can't we sit down and talk? I don't understand what happened...but can't we at least talk about it? I don't want to lose you either...

I...I could make something for you too. Like fried rice? Or yakisoba? Or naporitan?

[Damn suckered in with food.]

[That's more like the Mikoto she knows, and Mai looks visibly relieved.] But first we need to get you to the infirmary... Do you need help? I can carry you there...
