"I didn't say 'get out of the way'," he continued, shaking his head disappointedly. "I just want you to keep moving. Y'know...get everything you want and then leave."
There were other options ahead - side dishes, drinks, and desserts - and Zoro wasn't about to make the younger lad miss out on them. Instead, he nodded his head sharply, gesturing with it as if to say 'go ahead'.

He took a deep breath to calm himself down, he had been silly being so scared, what would the Black Brother's think of him? Nikkita would be laughing so hard! And Alfredo, what would Alfredo do in this situation?
"I'm sorry sir!" His voice was calmer this time, stronger; he moved forward when told to, he didn't pick up any other food, because he wasn't sure he was allowed more than one thing to eat, and the slice of pizza, however weird and disgusting it looked was quite big.
Trying to act like he wasn't terrified of the man behind him Romeo grabbed a glass of water, as he didn't have a player he wasn't allowed dessert. But he didn't really mind, he had had dessert the week before and it had been strange, very sweet and made Romeo feel slightly ill. He grabbed a pear though, because this place had a lot of different fruit and Romeo had found that he liked it all! Though nothing was quite as nice as apples.
Then he stepped out of the queue and watched the scary man warily.

Zoro wasn't allowed dessert either; he didn't seem interested anyway. Instead, he passed through the end of the line and began to walk directly past Romeo.
The moment they were standing next to each other, Zoro looked down at him with the same look of appraisal that he gave anything else, then simply said, "Thanks," in a very strong, genuine tone before walking away.

But his mind was miles away, back on Southern Cross Island, with Takuto and Wako. She would be safe with him with her, of that he had no doubt, but he still couldn't satisfy the faint anxiety he had dealt with. Maybe a few hours with a bokuto in his hand would do the job.
But then, he found a rather interesting situation. A decidedly well-built man having an altercation with a child. While he usually stayed out of other people's conflicts, this just wouldn't do. He walked up alongside Romeo. "Is everything alright?" he asked discreetly, looking over at Zoro.

"Everythings fine sir!" He glanced back at the scary man, he thought everything was fine, the man didn't seem angry at the moment.

By chance, though, Zoro happened to look back at Romeo and Sugata and noticed them looking directly at him. He raised a brow, his expressions changing slightly to a slight concern.
The misunderstanding was a simple one; Zoro's casual, yet gravel-laden voice, likely came off as a bit too rough. When he'd touched Romeo to urge him back into line, he hadn't used one bit of coercive strength to do so. Zoro had thought absolutely nothing of the exchange, too, so when their stares persisted, he frowned a little, but turned away again without a word. Spotting an empty table with a windowed view of the surrounding courtyard, Zoro strode away and seated himself quietly, sliding into his chair with a very small smile and a sigh of content.
