No way at all.
He'd probably drop dead before he'd chewed the first bite properly. He wasn't touching that with a pole. Somehow, he felt unclean simply passing the food and picking up the fruit.
And if Shōryū made fun of him, he'd throw this overripe... uh... whatever it was in his face.

He caught her quick smile out of the corner of his eye, and tossed her a lop-sided smile back. Really, we wasn't cut out for this... Contrary to Shōryū, he preferred wandering Kankyuu and the countryside, not actually talking (not that Shōryū always did lots of talking) to the various people he met.

She didn't say anything, just started to eat.

She looked nervous, even if she was trying to hide it.
"You can move, if you feel like it. I don't mind," Enki said with a shrug and picked up a peach from his collection and was once again treated to how fantastic they tasted.

Luckily the people who were serving the food were happy enough to tell him what everything was called, so when they had told him they were serving Pizza he had asked for that; glad to recognise the name of something.
However when he had been given the pizza on his plate he blinked at it in confusion. This didn't look like any pizza Romeo had ever eaten before, he had had it when he was little back before the drought had came and they had no food. Even in the fancy stalls in Milano that he had seen in his time there he had never seen anything like this.
Still he was always up for trying something knew, and he had tried a lot of strange things since coming to this school so he went and sat down at a table and tried the strange looking pizza.
And nearly choked... what was this? He grimaced as he chewed it and swallowed it, who on earth thought making cheese hot and stringy was a good idea? And putting it on pizza? "This isn't pizza!" He frowned but he took another bite grimacing again at the strange texture and mix of tastes. This was disgusting.

Zoro stared down at him, holding a tray of his own topped with plates of pizza, sandwiches, as well as burgers and fries as he stood just behind Romeo in the serving line. Taller and built with lean, powerful muscles from head to toe, he seemed to exude a tangible aura of intimidation, to say nothing at all of the long, battle-earned scar over his left eye.
"If you don't like it, get something else," he said firmly. There was no anger in his voice, but instead, his tone was almost...scolding. "But you're holding up the line."
Zoro himself had no reservations with the food, nor the language on the menu itself. He was new, but now that he had learned how to work with the system in place, he was more interested in finding a place to sit and eat in peace rather than be stuck waiting behind a picky eater.

His eyes went wide and he shook his head clutching the plate to him. He might not like it but he wasn't going to give it up, he was hungry. "I'm sorry sir!" He tried to sound chirpy but it came out more like a frightened yelp.
He side stepped out the line trembling still, so much that he almost dropped the pizza off the plate.

"I didn't say 'get out of the way'," he continued, shaking his head disappointedly. "I just want you to keep moving. Y'know...get everything you want and then leave."
There were other options ahead - side dishes, drinks, and desserts - and Zoro wasn't about to make the younger lad miss out on them. Instead, he nodded his head sharply, gesturing with it as if to say 'go ahead'.

He took a deep breath to calm himself down, he had been silly being so scared, what would the Black Brother's think of him? Nikkita would be laughing so hard! And Alfredo, what would Alfredo do in this situation?
"I'm sorry sir!" His voice was calmer this time, stronger; he moved forward when told to, he didn't pick up any other food, because he wasn't sure he was allowed more than one thing to eat, and the slice of pizza, however weird and disgusting it looked was quite big.
Trying to act like he wasn't terrified of the man behind him Romeo grabbed a glass of water, as he didn't have a player he wasn't allowed dessert. But he didn't really mind, he had had dessert the week before and it had been strange, very sweet and made Romeo feel slightly ill. He grabbed a pear though, because this place had a lot of different fruit and Romeo had found that he liked it all! Though nothing was quite as nice as apples.
Then he stepped out of the queue and watched the scary man warily.

She turned, looking for familiar faces. She could sit with the basketball team but they were always vaguely resentful after she beat them.

Well...
A TERRORIST.
That it had come from a friend had made it ten times worse.]
...but we're the heroes...
[She mumbles it to herself and turns the food on her plate over again with a fork. Siiigh.]

What now?]
... Mei. What is it? The food that bad? [Considering the girl is poking at the food like it might jump up and bite her (and for some of the food today, Grenn agreed), it seems like a logical conclusion.]

N-no. It's... fine...
[Her expression says otherwise.]

I totally had (shitty) pizza available every day at my American high school
Romeo must have taken the last of it!
But Romeo had been starved enough times to never leave food uneaten; he was hungry anyways, and so he was eating it slowly grimacing a little after every bite as the slimy cheese caught in his throat.]
I kind of miss fake cafeteria pizza rarely. Rarely. But it's not so much pizza really...
probably rectangularfood.]...What is that?

They said it was pizza, miss. But it doesn't taste like any pizza I had before, they put cheese on it...
[He wrinkles his nose at the stringy cheese mess on top of the pizza to show what he thought of that]

Sure she's had macaroni gratin before but...this was way greasier than anything she's ever eaten before. She definitely should have made a bentou this morning...
She finished the fruit cocktail, at least. Not really in her tastes either, but at least it was edible.
Giving up on her lunch, Mai looks at her reflection on the underside of her spoon. She tries smiling, but all that happens is her face looks weird. No matter what way she moves her cheek muscles, the end result is more or less the same. No smile. She sighs audibly.]
