Summary: In a flash of lightning and the deafening roll of thunder, the power goes out across Utopia Academy.

It's early in the morning when it happens, about six o'clock. The clouds were gathering gradually through the night, the rain only getting heavier from the near-constant downpour during the previous week. Lightning crackles across the sky, the water around the academy is violent and the waves are high. And in a particularly loud clap of thunder, what lights were still on go out and the academy is plunged into darkness.

[Suzaku follows Lloyd silently, struggling against the wind and rain, soaked to the skin by the time they get back to the Black dorm. He followed him up the stairs and entered the room, he frowned, what was Lloyd taking that would be so large he needed help carrying it. He was quiet, he definatly did not want Xingke waking up and looked at Lloyd again.]

What is it? [His voice was quiet, almost a whisper.]

[Someone's roommate isn't going to be happy with the amount of water and mud they're tracking on into the room, but oh well. That can be dealt with on a face-to-face basis later! Lloyd closes the door quietly behind them and gestures towards one of the room's closets.]

Oh, you know, this and that~. They're in there.

[Like Suzaku, the scientist is speaking in a whisper.]

[Suzaku raised his eyebrow, but followed Lloyd to the cupboard, like anything romotely connected to Lloyd the cupboard was full of things and Suzaku stepped half in before looking round to the scientist.]

There's so much stuff in here, what do you need? [Still in a whisper]

[If it had been possible for Lloyd to actually feel bad about tricking Suzaku like this, he might have hesitated in slamming the closet door shut on him.

Luckily, he cannot, and therefore does not.

Now it's just a race to see who has faster reflexes as he reaches for the lock.]

[Suzaku was not expecting the cupboard door to slam shut on him and so his reflexes were a little bit slower than usual.]

Lloyd?! [He shoved his weight against the cupboard trying to burst it open before Lloyd managed to lock it. He wasn't whispering now, he was annoyed, why was Lloyd doing this?]

[Slower reflexes or not, Lloyd versus Suzaku is only ever going to end in someone with glasses getting hurt. He reaches the lock, but before he can turn it, the door bursts open.

And gets stopped momentarily by his face!

The scientist stumbles back a few steps before landing on the floor in a sit. THUD. Oh, ow, holding his nose here. OW.]

...hgh!

What was that for? [Suzaku was angry but not angry enough not to feel bad about hurting Lloyd. He was also really confused. Why was Lloyd trying to lock him in a cupboard. He grabs Lloyd arm, if the scientist is going to be like this then he can just be dragged to the harbour. Don't make Suzkau pick him up!]

[earlofpudding]

Nn. [Ghh, everything smells like iron now, so Lloyd deems it safe to assume he has a bloody nose. Handcheck! Yep. He does.] A wayward attempt to save your life, but!

[Sniff. Ugh. He doesn't put up a fight when he's dragged back up to his feet by the arm. His other hand is occupied with continuing to hold his nose.]

...I suppose there is no saving the suicidal.

[Suzaku scowls, he is not suicidal and neither is Lelouch, they are just trying to escape. He does feel sorry for the bleading nose though.]

I'm sorry! But we have to go. [He starts to pull him towards the door. The power could come back any moment they had to get to the harbour and Lelouch, he was probably there with Nunnally already.
