He didn't want to leave him, in case he woke up and paniked again, so when Lelouch awoke he would find his knight knelt at the side of his bed, his head leant on the covers, fast asleep from exhaustion.

When he finally woke up again, the sky was brighter, though the downpour continued. The alarm clock on the bedside table told him it was nearly noon. He climbed out of bed from the opposite side of where Suzaku slept, and went down to the showers. He gathered up a few towels, replenished from the morning's showers by the staff, and came back upstairs. He covered Suzaku's shoulders in one, and used another on his hair while he looked for something else to wear other than his uniform, the clothes he'd arrived in, and these soaked pajamas. Soon, he found someone else's freshly cleaned set. So he stripped out of his, and put these on. They were large on him, but they would do until his hair was dry.

Luckily it was only over the coridoor and soon he was dry and a little warmer. He returned to Lelouch's room, able to think now he wasn't as freezing. He felt guilty, the whole plan had gone wrong and Lelouch had almost drowned, while Suzaku was meant to be protecting him, he could have died.
He stood by the door awkwardly, "I'm sorry," he muttered.
