[Round 3, ongoing] Treasure Hunt Exchange
Characters: All
Format: Any
This log is: open
Location: The lobby
Summary: Exchange treasures for clues here! Or just chat to the staff or mingle.
[throughout the week, the receptionists are fairly into their roles as 'sages', putting on mystical voices when appropriate and generally being helpful to friendlier students. Other than that, there isn't much to note about the lobby. Students wishing to exchange treasures for the next clue should come here.]

Morning, 2nd Day
Ignoring all that, Huashi was bounding towards breakfast when she took a leap up into a tree and swung to the next to get past a particluarly huge and muddy puddle instead of having to walk around it, scaring up the birds who'd huddled in the lower branches at the same time.
"You should be higher up if you didn't want to be disturbed!" Huashi giggled as she landed, her stomach growling. Silly birds! But she didn't care about the birds breakfast soon... Tilting her head as she skipped through the forest she suddenly remembered some of the people ate...
"What's that, Wujing?" Huashi peered over the water spirit's shoulder as he prepared his, Xuanzang and Baije's dinner.
"Eggs, Huashi. I have to---"
... Break them before they could be used.
Huashi stopped, sliding slightly on wet ground, grass and leaves, then grinned. Setting off at a full dash, Huashi barged into the dining hall, waved to Kotarou who was already there and shouted at him that she'd be coming soon, picked up an egg, and ran out again.
"Hey! Hey, hey, hey!" Huashi slid to a stop in front of one of the receptionists, bouncing on her feet (and having trailed a wet and muddy track inside). "Here you go!" Huashi grinned brightly and carefully put the egg on the desk, so it didn't roll away.

The clue over, she went back to her smile. "Is that all, dear?"

"Yes~ Thank you!" She waved and bounded out again, barely slipping the raincape on as she dove out into the rain. That hadn't made any sense at all... Daddy would have known, surely, or Yu Long, or... well, any of 'her' adults surely would have, except for Baije. She... doubted... his, what was the term? book smarts? Something like that.
With a sigh, Huashi flipped the hood up and began the run across campus to get to the dining hall, to tell Kotarou their next clue. Not that it was much of one.
