"Of course. The next clue..." What a lovely girl, her expression seemed to say. For the clue, she did her best rendition of a mysterious sage. "A tongue I have, and a soul too. Yet I speak not, nor do I live. Though I am trodden underfoot, I remain firm and proud."

The clue over, she went back to her smile. "Is that all, dear?"

No, it really wasn't. But then, that was the point of a riddle, wasn't it? She was no good at riddles... Huashi restrained her pout to an internal one and nodded.

"Yes~ Thank you!" She waved and bounded out again, barely slipping the raincape on as she dove out into the rain. That hadn't made any sense at all... Daddy would have known, surely, or Yu Long, or... well, any of 'her' adults surely would have, except for Baije. She... doubted... his, what was the term? book smarts? Something like that.

With a sigh, Huashi flipped the hood up and began the run across campus to get to the dining hall, to tell Kotarou their next clue. Not that it was much of one.
