Summary: Kallen's leaning against the windowsill with a notebook trying to remember the things she's forgotten.
Warnings: N/A

This was starting to get annoying. Ten memories lost, only one of them gained, and hints about the others she lost. Kallen had forgotten how to write her last name in kanji, and through Euphemia, she was able to regain it. Outside of that, she had a lingering feeling that she shouldn't be calling Suzaku her friend or remotely getting close to him. Although she couldn't remember how or why or what the reason could have been. Eating a sandwich was a problem, along with putting on a bra, so she was sure she couldn't remember those. And thanks to Gino (which was something not to be thanked for), she couldn't recognize people and their faces when looking at pictures of them.

Seriously, this was annoying.

She looked down at her list that looked something like this:

- Bra
- Sandwich
- Suzaku
- People's faces in pictures.

Of course, the list wouldn't make any sense to anyone looking over her shoulder at it.

Kallen remained quiet for a moment. Just how much of the list did he see?

"How to eat them," she said softly, turning her head away, crossing her arms under her chest.

"Oh." Surely eating sandwiches involved just picking them up and biting them? What a strange memory to lose. "That's an inconvenient memory to lose."

"It is," Kallen simply agreed. "It's frustrating."

Suzaku nodded, it would be he imagined, since eating was something you came across every day and not remembering how to eat something as simple as a sandwhich was... well...

"Have you got any memories back yet?" He asked.

"Just one" she admitted. "My last name. I remembered how to write it in kanji. How about you?"

Suzaku nodded and then shook his head, "No I haven't gotten any back, but I have worked out a few that I am missing," His last name, the pilot in front of him's name, Japanese, Kallen knew about them.

"One seems to be how to drive a Knightmare Frame, I can't even picture the controls in my head." Again it was a memory that while really not a problem, as this world, the school at least didn't have any Knightmare Frames. But it was annoying, something he knew usually without even thinking about it to be taken from him.

"Huh... even if you don't remember it, I doubt it would do you much good here," Kallen said softly. Unless one of their frames suddenly dropped from the sky to suddenly bust them out of this place, it wasn't likely for the impossible to occur.

Suzaku shrugged, "I guess not, it's just annoying not knowing." It was like forgetting Japanese, with the system here it didn't actually matter, he could understand everyone no matter what language they were speaking. But it was part of him, part of who he was that they had taken from him. Here was another.

"So something about me," he didn't want to linger on that he couldn't think of anything that Kallen could have forgotten about him that could be good, "eating a sandwhich and how to write your name, anything else?"

"Yeah, but I don't know what." Kallen shrugged and looked out the window for a moment. "It's pretty useless to force myself to remember because I know it won't work that way, but I can't help but think about the things I've forgotten."

Kallen turned her head in hearing what Suzaku rambled off. Thankfully he didn't see the whole bra bit. "Not that I've been able to figure out," she lied.

Suzaku nodded, he had found that thinking about what he had forgotten, trying to think round the subject trying to pinpoint exactly what it was that he made his head fuzzy.

"I hope you remember soon," he said with a small smile and went to move away.

"Thank you and you should try and do the same. I'm sure Lelouch would be willing to help you more than other anyone else," Kallen said nodding.
