This log is: Wide open
Location: In any of the common rooms in the dorms.
Summary: Montblanc wants to put up a letter on the cork noticeboards in each of the dorms, but he is way too short! Someone help him out.

If Montblanc had learned anything in his time at Utopia Academy, it was that this world was not made to cater to the vertically challenged. He was used to it. Moogles were the smallest race in Ivalice, so it was only natural that they'd became very inventive when it came to upward movement. He was a pro at scrambling over obstacles that looked insurmountable at a glance.

But even he couldn't climb up a perfectly smooth wall. Why were those dumb boards so high up, anyway? He had something to post, something that he hoped would both help him get to know the people here and help them in the battles to come, but until he figured out the mysteries of the internet, this was the only way to get word of his plan out.

Maybe he should try moving the inconveniently hefty furniture around. He made one final attempt at jumping high enough grab a pin from the board, his wings fluttering uselessly. So close...! But no luck once again. "Oh, kupo!"

That was probably an expletive.

"Huh, good point." He hadn't thought about that. With all the different people milling around this place, there had to be someway to get out.

"That's a brilliant idea Montblanc."

The moogle swelled with pride. "Thanks, kupo!"

He nodded at the notice approvingly. Mission accomplished! "Would you like to help me plan out what we'll do? It's okay if you're not interested in helping teach, but if you have any ideas I could use, I'm all ears, kupo!" The aforementioned ears twitched to attention to illustrate this.

"Sure, I'd be happy too. And I don't mind teaching, It just might need to be something along the lines of an agility or obstacle course than hand-to-hand."

"That sounds like a good plan to me! We should take a look at the equipment in the gym, kupo, see if there's enough to get a course like that set up. And if you're willing to spar with newbies to help them get a feel for it, all the better. Kupo!" His head was already filling with ambitious ideas. He'd start off slow, but in no time even the weakest of his clan--er, his fellow battlers would be capable of handling anything he could throw at them.

"It's a plan." Locke grinned, happy not only to help his new friend but also to finally have something to do that at least felt productive.

"Do you have time right now?" he asked. The sooner they got started, the happier he'd be.

"Sure!" It wasn't like he had anywhere left to explore.

"Then let's go, kupo!" Montblanc led the way to the gym. He already knew where the equipment storage area was from his earlier exploration, so they reached it in no time.

"Let's see what we can find!"

Locke followed the Moogle to the gym and opened up the storage area, leaving the doors wide open in case what they found needed to be dragged out.

"Alright, let's see...hmm...I don't actually recognize a lot of this."
