[Kanaya is wandering around the school grounds, wearing her new uniform. This place was so different from Alternia, and although she's seen Earth before, it's only been from behind a computer screen. The sun was different here and she wondered if the other trolls would enjoy it's rays. On the other hand, she didn't want them to experience it, that would be taking them away from their important mission.]

[She didn't sleep last night, or even spend last night in her dorm. Instead she spent the night reading the rulebook, it wasn't nearly as wordy as Rose's gameFAQ and she got through it easily. If she could collect 5 weapons she'd win the round, but besides memories and upgrades there didn't seem to be much gained for winning. No discernible way to get back.]

[For now she's just trying to familiar herself with her new surroundings, perhaps collect a few weapons along the way]

[You know who else is trying to familiarize herself with her surroundings? Certainly not Vriska!

...Oh, who are we kidding, of course it's Vriska. She's moving every which way, looking at the all the dorms, peering in every accessible nook and cranny and taking note to herself because, hey, every good player needed to know their battleground before taking part in it. Relatively speaking, of course. Vriska only wished she was a player.

That nonsense aside, she's currently traipsing down the stairs of her dorm as eager as ever to further her research. Oh yes. Look at her go!]

[[Ah hah! So Theta had seen an ashen-skinned horned person, her eyes were not, in fact, deceiving her. How truly, truly strange. She limps straight up to the other person, a bright and cheery grin on her face. There's a cane in her left hand, her left leg doesn't seem to take her weight well at all. Her trousers also have an odd cut to them, flaring out around the knees before tucking back in to tall boots.]]

[She was grey. She was grey and she had horns--

No bad Koharu. Judging solely on appearances is bad. She could be a very kind girl just tossed into this mess. But she did look a bit unusual, no one could deny that.]

[Nunnally blinked, tried to compose herself from her momentary staring. It was rude and inconsiderate, but it wasn't often you encountered someone with grey skin and horns . . . She smiled, and steered her wheelchair to a stop to the side]

Excuse me... do you need help? [she'd been confused when she arrived here, so it was a natural question, at least to her]

[Gaara didn't get down to the lobby in time for the announcements, thanks to his primary duty as replacement sibling for Mikoto. Also some drama from his dormmates, which we will not go into here.

So instead, he's sat in the common room of the White dormitory, using one of the computers to check the Player list for potentials.]

Romeo was also wandering around the school grounds, he had just gone to check on the towers, apart from the one that was now open, there was no way he was going anywhere near that one again! He shuddered but forced himself to stay positive, after all it was a nice day and he was going to go and train with Zoro soon.

Even if Zoro was a pirate he was a nice one and Romeo's friend and so Romeo had to believe that he really was good inside.

He saw a girl walking and the first thing he noticed was that her skin was a grey colour and that she had horns. Well that was a little strange, but Romeo had met lots of people from different countries and places since coming here and had quickly learnt that not everyone looked like the people in Italy. He wondered where this girl was from.

He smiled at her though, because she was definatly new and she was only a little bit older than him, probably about Alfredo's age. "Hello!"
