Meet and Greet [Intro #2]

You are brought to your campus and shown to your dorm rooms before you are given permission to wander the campus and the town. Meaning Fortitude students can mingle with Conquest students, they can go visit the shop (shop post will be up later today), or speak to the headmistresses and mayor. Each student now has the Exaclan manuals, a uniform, a school bag with either a shield or a sword on it, and the glove used to pull weapons.

But make sure to come to the battle area later to see the exhibition match! 

Take advantage of the free day, the freedom won't last long. Sooner rather than the later the round will start, Players will be named, Weapons will lose their privileges, and the battles will begin. So you might as well go out and make friend or start rivalries, anything to help you along later in the round.

I get that, I mean, I was saying how I guessed you were.

I'd rather learn important things, like how to cook better and how to raise a family. I don't need stupid book knowledge about things I'll never need to know about.

Things you will learn can be useful in many ways. I teach Alternian History and Religion, and while we are not on Alternia it is always useful to understand another culture to better yourself. The Headmistress of Conquest teaches Poisons which may be helpful in survival, although Fortitude students cannot take that.

The only way I wanna better myself is to be a better sister to... to...

[She winces as a headache starts to form, blocking out Alex's name and face.]

To my little brother...

[she nods and places a comforting hand on her shoulder- the contact allowed since round hasn't started yet]

I understand, child, and when you get home you will be fully equipped to take care of him.

[drawsdeath]

[Becca yelps in fear automatically, and knocks the Dolorosa's hand off of her shoulder. Then she smiles weakly as a headache spreads through her head, unable to remember why it frightened her.]

I'm...I'm sorry... I don't know...why that scared me so much...

[mamarosa]

[she holds her hands up defensively and apologetically]

It is okay if my appearance or this place frightens you.

[drawsdeath]

I don't...think it was that. I don't know what it was... There's a missing memory...

[mamarosa]

Missing memories are upsetting, but you can always get them back.

[drawsdeath]

I don't see why I should have to pay for something that was already mine in the first place.

[mamarosa]

It is so they can get you to battle, the price you pay for being chosen to be here.

[drawsdeath]

I guess. I'm gonna get all my memories back and go home. My little brother needs me.

[mamarosa]

I'm sorry, getting all of your memories back will not guarantee that you get sent home.

[drawsdeath]

Then who'll take care of my brother?

[mamarosa]

Whoever else is there, or perhaps being taken here leaves another version of yourself there. Who knows.

[drawsdeath]

Nobody else back home would take care of him.

[mamarosa]

I'm sure that someone will, or that he will learn to take care of himself.

[drawsdeath]

I've been trying to teach him to do it himself...we don't have anyone else.

[mamarosa]

I'm sorry, I do not know what to do to offer comfort.

[drawsdeath]

[She sighs forlornly.]

There's...not really anything anyone can do, except maybe bring my brother here.

[mamarosa]

He may show up, you don't know that he won't.

[drawsdeath]

I hope it's soon.

[mamarosa]

I hope it is as well.
