Meet and Greet [Intro #2]

You are brought to your campus and shown to your dorm rooms before you are given permission to wander the campus and the town. Meaning Fortitude students can mingle with Conquest students, they can go visit the shop (shop post will be up later today), or speak to the headmistresses and mayor. Each student now has the Exaclan manuals, a uniform, a school bag with either a shield or a sword on it, and the glove used to pull weapons.

But make sure to come to the battle area later to see the exhibition match! 

Take advantage of the free day, the freedom won't last long. Sooner rather than the later the round will start, Players will be named, Weapons will lose their privileges, and the battles will begin. So you might as well go out and make friend or start rivalries, anything to help you along later in the round.

[She takes them off and holds them out.]

I can't see if I'm not wearing them.

[True to her word, she's not so much holding them out 'to him' as she is 'in his general direction'.]

You can't see at all? How does that work? [ but he takes them from her, and peers through the lenses. And blinks. ] Oi, why are you lying? I can't see through these.

...Think of it like a mirror. My eyes are backwards. When you look through those, everything's blurry, right? But when I look without them, everything's blurry, and when I look with them, everything's normal.

[ he processes this. Okay, he guesses he gets it. Here, have your 'glasses' back. ]

[She puts them on and blinks down at him.]

Not everybody who wears glasses is as blind as me. My eyes are pretty bad. Some people just need 'em to read.

Those people must be stupid. I can read without glasses.

No, it's because things are blurry to their eyes. But you can see big things just fine even if it's a little blurry, but little things like writing get all fuzzy so you can't see it.

[She smiles weakly, but this headache is really bad.]
