Meet and Greet [Intro #2]

You are brought to your campus and shown to your dorm rooms before you are given permission to wander the campus and the town. Meaning Fortitude students can mingle with Conquest students, they can go visit the shop (shop post will be up later today), or speak to the headmistresses and mayor. Each student now has the Exaclan manuals, a uniform, a school bag with either a shield or a sword on it, and the glove used to pull weapons.

But make sure to come to the battle area later to see the exhibition match! 

Take advantage of the free day, the freedom won't last long. Sooner rather than the later the round will start, Players will be named, Weapons will lose their privileges, and the battles will begin. So you might as well go out and make friend or start rivalries, anything to help you along later in the round.

Last I checked, em not a girl, nor heff been. Where ever you are from it sounds like is very strange place. But no, today has been weird. MUCH too weird, I do not, cannot be here I heff things going on back home and this is... no, just is not how it is.

[He'll put his face in his hands, fighting tears.]

[It'll take him a moment before he collects himself and sits up again. Now he's embarrassed at making a scene about all of this.]

I em sorry, is just... a great amount to think of. Especially when you talk of dates I heff not heard of. But, Britannia is interesting name.

[It's alright, no harm done. ... except for Britannia thinking male Ukraine is just as weak and pathetic as his female self but whatever! Who cares about the silent opinions of an asshat?]

This is a very strange place, isn't it? [She says disarmingly and takes another sip of her tea.]

Is not so strange as is different. Architecture reminds me of somewhere closer to Western Europe but is not bad. I heff feeling I will like it here better than I think I do.

[Or not, he's not convinced himself of this yet.]

Like England? [She takes another glance around and has to agree with Ukraine on that. It's too... simplistic for her people, but lacks the distinct culture of some other civilizations found in the East.]

Mebbe... was thinking Germany or Northern France. England likes copper roofs and brass embellishments on buildings.

Have you been to those places before?

[pysankya]

Yes, many times. Has been while since I went last since the war broke out.

[Ukraine will fall into an uncomfortable silence. The war had not been kind to him and even after it had ended, it seemed he was still fighting a separate war of his own.]

Heff you ever visited such places?

No, the farthest I've ever been from the homeland is Area 11. [A pause before she quietly adds:] You probably know it as Japan.

What are they like? Is it really different from North America?

[pysankya]

I heff not been to Japan but Kikyo is very nice from when I heff talked with her in meetings. Very quiet.

[Ukraine will muse for a moment.]

From what I heff seen of north Amerika is very different. Architecture is very old and is mostly of stone. The way people t'ink is different too. They really don't care much for North Amerika is like a footnote to their politics. Most nations are very self involved, others tend to keep to themselves... since war Europe has been in upheaval. No one is talking to each other very much.

[countryofassholes]

[Kikyo...? And why does Ukraine's version of her sound an awful lot like...? Oh. Oh.] Hey, does this Kikyo have short black hair and look really cute?

[She'll get to the second part in a moment, right now she wants confirmation that Ukraine is from a world where all the nations are... backwards.]

[Ukraine will blink for a moment then think on it.] Yes, she is very tiny with short black hair and very large brown eyes. Much like a doll I t'ink. Is always very polite too.

I see. [What. A weird. Concept.] And Iv- Russia? Are they a girl too?

[pysankya]

Yes, Russia is my baby sister. Anya. She is very cute looking but terrible temper and we are not speaking right now. She heff much to apologize for before I em going to allow her to speak diplomacy with me again.

[countryofassholes]

[And, for some reason, Britannia starts laughing quietly.] Your world sounds really weird.

So you're all at war right now? [Yes, Britannia is going to act like the discovery that a second world exists out there were all the nations are genderswapped isn't that big a deal.]

Is a bit complex right now. No, we are not at war, we heff just finished with a war but it seems that things are taking longer than usual to calm down. Tensions are high all across Europe... is not good.

[Ukraine's getting used to the idea that there are several variations on his own world. It's giving him a headache but he will deal as best he can.]

[countryofassholes]

Aren't they always high? You guys never really seem to get along that well. [Another sip of her tea as she ponders the possibility.] So which war just finished?

[pysankya]

No, well... is been getting worse over past few years. Not enough money for some and too much for others, is a bad thing.

[Ukraine will sigh and play with the scarf around his neck.]

I think they are calling it the great war, if they are not careful it will be the first half to another war. I heff heard of stirrings in Germany of a new political power... I do not want to think what will happen if they gain power. My sister is bad enough with her leader, I do not think the world could handle two very...unwanted dictators.

[To be honest, everything Ukraine is describing sounds exactly like the Europe of her world. Disorganized, full of strife and differences that they can't overcome, so they end up bickering. (She can even hear Charles's speech inside her head now. "All men are not born equal! Blah blah blah! What became of the EU, etc. It is in constant conflict-" and so on and so forth. Needless to say it's leaving a terrible taste in her mouth that has nothing to do with the aftertaste of the tea she's drinking.)]

Do you think you'll be fighting again soon?

[pysankya]

[Ukraine will continue to fiddle with his scarf for a moment, lost in thought about her question.]

I think there will be fighting, I do not think it will be on the scale again as the last war. I do not know what is going on in western Europe right now. But I know that Eastern Europe is fighting Russia. Is a difficult time, everyone is unhappy and there is much anarchy. I hope it does not come to a bloodbath... but I cannot see anything else coming for us.

Hmm... [Britannia seems thoughtful as she listens to Ukraine, turning over that information in her head. Granted while she isn't exactly the best consultant when it comes to world history, she thought she was adequate enough to be on par with the rest of the world. You know, per her standards, but it's conversations like these that are starting to make her wonder if this place has messed with her head more than she thought.

Won't it be horrifying to wake up one morning and realize she's been believing something entirely wrong? After all, there's no telling how far these people can mess with someone's head...]

Hey, Ukraine? What year is it for you right now?

What year? It is 1920, why?

[Ukraine will give her a bit of an odd look. He knew that a few other people he had met from the future had different knowledge of what lay ahead. He wondered if Britannia was from even further ahead than Estonia was.]
