Meet and Greet [Intro #2]

You are brought to your campus and shown to your dorm rooms before you are given permission to wander the campus and the town. Meaning Fortitude students can mingle with Conquest students, they can go visit the shop (shop post will be up later today), or speak to the headmistresses and mayor. Each student now has the Exaclan manuals, a uniform, a school bag with either a shield or a sword on it, and the glove used to pull weapons.

But make sure to come to the battle area later to see the exhibition match! 

Take advantage of the free day, the freedom won't last long. Sooner rather than the later the round will start, Players will be named, Weapons will lose their privileges, and the battles will begin. So you might as well go out and make friend or start rivalries, anything to help you along later in the round.

Modesty is for nations with reputations worth things other than 'a good place to annex.'

You have to be worth more than annexing.

[Looking at her with less of a pout.]

... I do my best. My people hold nice music festivals.

What kind of music?

[Being nice now, since the conversion and annexation stuff is just sad.]

Traditional things. The sort of thing they'd be singing now if you visited in your time. Especially in choirs. Singing together.

Are you good at singing?

[Lithuania's always liked singing, but he's only ever been alright at it. He ends up following his people around listening to them a lot.]

[independencesong]

Not as good as some people, but I don't make dogs flee in terror, or anything.

[duchy]

I can't tell if you're actually being modest now or not.

[Smiling in a vaguely amused sort of way, though--it is a very Lithuania smile and one he uses regularly even in modern times.]

[independencesong]

[Such a Lithuania-type smile that she can't help but roll her eyes as she smiles back.]

Like I said, others are much better.

[duchy]

That doesn't mean you're not a good singer.

[independencesong]

No, I suppose not. It just means I'm not anything special.

[duchy]

What do you sound like when you sing?

[independencesong]

... I don't know. What do you sound like when you sing?

[duchy]

[Shrugging.]

I don't sing a lot.

[Actually he sings more than he thinks he does, just mostly when he's distracted.]

[independencesong]

You still must sing some.

[duchy]

Well, sometimes, when I'm picking berries or gathering mushrooms.

[Fun fact: he doesn't remember what berries taste like and he can't identify edible mushrooms anymore. MEMORY REMOVAL IS FUN.]

Which is some of the best time to sing, if you ask me. At least as good as any other.

[duchy]

It makes work faster. But nearly all of my people sing better than me.

[Lithuania stop comparing your singing skills to grown adults.]

[independencesong]

That's probably just because you're a child, Leedu.

[duchy]

I hope I get bigger soon.

[Tilting his head a bit.]

I want to hear you sing. You said you're not that good but you probably are.

[independencesong]

I'll only sing if you thank me with a song of your own.

[duchy]

[And Lithuania is struck with sudden shyness.]

Well... I guess...

[independencesong]

Good.

[Estonia is taking that to mean it's a deal, and so she clears her throat and adjusts her glasses before starting to quietly sing one of her folk songs for him. For all she makes a habit of rarely singing alone, it's obvious that her voice is pretty, although nothing special. She's more animated when she sings, too, clearly enjoying herself.]

[Lithuania listens attentively.]

You're good at it. I think so, anyway.
