Meet and Greet [Intro #2]

You are brought to your campus and shown to your dorm rooms before you are given permission to wander the campus and the town. Meaning Fortitude students can mingle with Conquest students, they can go visit the shop (shop post will be up later today), or speak to the headmistresses and mayor. Each student now has the Exaclan manuals, a uniform, a school bag with either a shield or a sword on it, and the glove used to pull weapons.

But make sure to come to the battle area later to see the exhibition match! 

Take advantage of the free day, the freedom won't last long. Sooner rather than the later the round will start, Players will be named, Weapons will lose their privileges, and the battles will begin. So you might as well go out and make friend or start rivalries, anything to help you along later in the round.

[He'll laugh and gently put a hand on her shoulder. It's different but nice, he likes being able to touch her without having her move immediately away from him.]

[She may not be perfectly at ease with contact, but on days like this, when things are stubbornly determined not to make any sense at all, she'll take his touching. She'll take anything familiar.

Out of things to say, though, Estonia will simply walk in silence alongside Ukraine for a while, before grabbing his hand to wordlessly pull him into an interesting looking shop. Books seem to have caught her eye.]

[Of course it's books, he's glad to know some things have yet to change in her personality.He'll follow gladly, looking around the shop and poking at a few books on the top shelves.]

[Estonia will be in here a while, unchanging with her affection for books, but consideration for her companion kicks in and she'll wander back to purposely look at things near Ukraine, to judge and see if he's getting impatient yet.]

[Ukraine has the patience of a saint. Having gone looking on books about plants within this region he'll be thoroughly engrossed in an encyclopaedia of various flowering plants. He hasn't even noticed they had spent so long in the bookstore.]

[After a silent moment of appreciation - complete and utter enamoured adoration, actually - for him, Estonia turns to the bookshelf behind him and continuing her slight love affair with the book collection here.]

[Ukraine will take the book, holding it carefully and wander over to where Estonia had likely stuck her head into more books. gently, he'll tap her on the shoulder.] Heffing good time looking?

[independencesong]

A fantastic time. [Although she responds immediately, Estonia doesn't look up until she's finished scanning the paragraph she was on, then simply closes the book between her palms as she smiles at him.]

It's very soothing in here.

It is, good books too. Did you find a good one?

[He'll peer over her shoulder at whatever book she had managed to hold between her palms, attempting to identify the cover.]

Ah, just a study of some things. Nothing terribly interesting.

[She slides the book back onto the shelf, obviously not terribly attached to it.] Are you finished?

[pysankya]

Yes. Was just interested in local plants, seems to be much like home.

[He'll smile and move back to let her get around him.]

Good, so I've got the same accidental walks through unpleasant fields to look forward to here.

[Estonia actually chuckles to finish that, not moving too far from Ukraine as they head out. The books put her in a better mood, as they often did.]

[Ukraine will laugh at her comment, following her form the shop and shaking his head.]

They are not hard walks, all you do is read book last time you visited and I hed to feed animals. Besides, is not like there are many fields here in town.

[independencesong]

No, but should we find any... [Falling into step beside him, she idly places a hand low on his back.]

And I hope you're not expecting my visits in your future to entail much else besides reading. I may multi-task excellently, but I still love my books.

[pysankya]

[He'll smile at her, still unsure about how much she's touching him but he enjoys it.]

I did not think anything would change, you are very much own person and would be strange not to see you reading book as we walk through fields together.

[independencesong]

Good. I, uh... [Oh, hello feelings, where did you suddenly come from? A bit sheepish, Estonia drops her hand.] I'll always enjoy walking through fields with you, and... well, and books.

[pysankya]

Good! I really enjoy it, you are good friend and company, Reeta.

[Sev will put a large hand on her shoulder and give it a squeeze before putting his hands in the pockets of his trousers.]

Mebbe instead of fields with will be gardens? There seem to be many of them here.

[independencesong]

You're a good friend, too, Sevastien. And I think walking through gardens with you would be lovely.

[pysankya]

[The small comment about the gardens made Sev smile brightly and a blush creep onto his cheeks. It hadn't been too much of a secret over the years that he had really enjoyed Reeta's company and even liked the woman as something a little more than a friend. But he'd never said anything for fear of scaring her off completely. Estonia was shy and he knew that emotions scared her so he tended to try to keep his many emotions too himself. But sometimes he just couldn't. Hence the stupidly happy grin on his face as they walked through town.]]

I em glad you think so, Reeta.

[independencesong]

[Catching sight of that grin of his, she couldn't help but smile, too, just as endeared to him as she would have been at home. It was relaxing, for the first time since her arrival here, to just be with him, and be like they so often were.]

How could anyone not?

Ah... are you in any rush to get back to your school?

[pysankya]

You would be surprised, but that is not good topic. Is depressing.

[At the mention of school he'll look down at her and shake his head.]

No, I know where room is and what will be going on, is okie I heff all afternoon to explore this place. Was there something you needed?

[independencesong]

[Estonia can't quite believe his first statement -- even those who had done him wrong still generally enjoyed his company as a person -- but she allows his dismissal, then gives a slight shake of her head.]

No, I just wanted to be sure I wasn't keeping you from something.

[pysankya]

No, not keeping me from anything. I was just going to walk and see what is here. Are you busy this afternoon?

[independencesong]

I'm not, no. I'd honestly rather spend some time with you, though, to ease into things.

[pysankya]

As much as we can ease after being dropped here, yes?

[Don't forget the 1920's cynicism that appeared almost as suddenly as his sullen attitude toward vodka.]
