Characters: Ramona Flowers and Scott PilgrimShe had quite a few raks. Somehow she had earned about as many raks as she came in with. That didn't seem like a very bad turnout, what with her not being a Player this round. Maybe next time she'd get enough to buy a memory charm... but hell, you'd need someone else to buy it for you. She figured this much out.
Format: Prose
This log is: closed
Location: Near Rakette, in the city.
Summary: Ramona takes some free time to explore the city again before she heads into Rakette to buy something. A certain hero happens upon her.
It was time to head to Rakette, anyhow, as it was beginning to get late. Maybe she'd just settle for an ability ring and keep the other 15 raks for something if necessary...

There had been little here that had stirred any memory of home, but out of the blue Scott now had some thing to follow on.
He choked for a moment, trying to form words as his feet picked up in pace to follow after her. He had definitely seen her before, but it seemed so long ago. As if remembering a classmate or a girl he used to work with, but he was more than sure he'd only seen her in a dream.
Calling out to her, Scott felt a strange wave of deja' vu' sweep over him.]
"H-Hey! Hey there! Hey! Uhh.. You uh.. You new in town?"

Her look wasn't exactly one of friendliness, but neutrality.]
New? About as new as everyone else when we all arrived here.

-Gulp-
"So uhh.. Have we.. Umm.."
[Scott's doing that all so typical male hero head scratch thing right now. It's the best he can do to fill the gaps of awkwardness without rambling like an idiot. His head was a mess of gears and cogs trying to piece together cool slang and pick-up lines. This girl was a looker, and he was totally on the level of certainty that she had in fact been in a dream of his once before.]
"This is like.. Serious, hardcore, deja' vu'! Well, not like an Apple point and click but you uhh..
. . .
This is sooo lame."
[Scott merely stares back at the trendy looking lady, a crooked smile on his face that just screams, "CREEPER".]

[Impersonating Shia Le Bouf? Nah! Scott reaches out his arms and waves them in front of the strange girl.]
"Hang on a sec! You're gonna' think this is like, some sort of pick up line, and you can think that if you want, especially if it works, but like.. I KNOW I've seen you some where before. Like, I think it was a dream. Totally a dream. I think I've got some crazy form of sixth sense, 'cept without all the dead people, yeah?
But yeah! I KNOW I've seen you in a dream. I think you were roller blading. Do you roller blade? I think you said I was "stupid", which I get a lot from girls. Kinda' a thing with me and girls, being called "stupid". Ignore that last part. I don't get called stupid a lot."
[Taking in a deep breath, Scott stares her over again, staying silent for a few seconds.]
"I'm Scott."
