[ Ring ring. When Nanami picks up, Homura asks quietly: ]

Nanami, a prefect, right? ... I would like to ask for something.

[ call to Madoka ]
[ RING RING. Once Madoka picks up, Homura wastes no time. She's already contacted Nanami, and has gathered what they'll need to sleep outside of the campus. ]

Madoka. ... It's Homura. There's been trouble at Fortitude, and I've gotten permission for us to sleep somewhere safer. Can you meet me at the front gates?

A-ah, Homura-chan. Mm, I can... is there anything I should bring with me?

Bring your personal items, like your toothbrush. I've already gotten things like toothpaste, blankets and pillows and food. So don't worry about things like that.

[ And a tent, which she bought with her hard-earned raks. She's waiting by the gate already, a few bags by her feet. ]

... Please be careful.

[revelation]

Okay, ( She shuffles on her feet nervously, wishing she could do more beyond just her personal belongings. ) I'll get my things together and I'll meet you at the front gates.

I will and please, be careful too.

( Sure enough, not more than five minutes later, Madoka will appear as she jogs toward the gate with a totes in hand. She comes to a stop a few steps away, taking a few needed breathes before speaking. )

I hope you didn't have to wait too long, Homura-chan.

[ Homura is relieved to see her and that she's unharmed. She breathes a sigh and goes about picking up the bags, then starting to walk along. She needs to get distance between them and the school. ] It's fine; I wasn't waiting long. ... Have you checked the forums recently?

[revelation]

( Madoka shifts her own bag, busily trying to help with one of the others that Homura has brought with her. )

I saw a bit. I didn't read much though, I just... I couldn't.

[ She lets Madoka help, and off they go in the direction of the forest. ]

I see. ... well, that's why we're moving. It isn't safe for you to sleep there anymore, not with a murderer around. You can't be killed by normal means. And even then, it seems we won't stay dead. But I won't let you get hurt.

No one knows where we're going, so it will be safer.

[revelation]

( Madoka follows a few steps behind, watching as the school grounds slowly gave way to the forests around the campuses. )

Mm, I suppose you're right. ( She gives a small smile, even though the other girl cannot see it -- she's worried about the others in her dorm but they're all strong. If anything, they at least all now know to stay on guard. ) What about going to class or... that game?

Class should be okay. There are a lot of people there then. And the game ... if either of us are a player, it's a good way to get the money we need. But otherwise it doesn't matter. Don't participate unless someone you know to be safe is a player.

[ She pauses in movement and words, looking behind her. ]

Tomorrow, I'll be looking around the place a bit more.

[revelation]

Okay. ( Even as a Weapon, she could still earn money... which was the least she could do right now for the two of them. It's just as Homura said though, she would need to find someone that was safe. If anything, she could at least work again on their free day. )

Is there anything I can do?

[antitank]

[ She looks down to her feet, and then up to Madoka again. ]

Stay safe. Don't tell anyone where we're staying. Work if you feel up to it. ... Your just being here is a great deal of help for me. I don't know what I'd do if you weren't.

[ She really doesn't. If she'd been alone here with Madoka in a box, alive and dead all at once-- uncertain-- she wouldn't give in to despair, but all of this would be difficult. So very difficult. Homura continues to walk. ]

[revelation]

( Madoka blinks, looking almost shocked but her expression quickly softens and she hurries to fall in step beside Homura with another smile. )

I promise, I'll try and find a way to earn us some money even if its just going to classes but I'll make sure to stay safe.

It'll be okay too, we'll figure something out.
