Summary: Forward-dated to Day 3 (and will probably still be in progress by then.) Yuri's noticed Rebecca still hasn't gotten a mark on her hand and decides to ask her about it.
Warnings: Nada mucho.

[It's after class when Yuri signals Rebecca with a wave of his hand, silently asking her to hold back until the others have left. Hopefully she'll get the message as he deals with some last minute questions and does the banter thing with students as the trickle out.

Finally, when it's just the two of them, he turns on her and gives her what is probably meant to be a disarming smile, but comes across as more of a smirk. Habit really, he swears.

Still, not one to be idle, he starts righting any furniture that may have been upset during "class" and starts speaking, tone pleasantly bland.] You just not interested in the game?

I don't know about you, but I don't think there's gonna be much chair throwing in the game. [He says as he rights a table.] I was talking about your bare hand.

I saw somebody fight and win with a shield on my first day here. You're gonna have to do better than that.

It'd take a real battle master to win with my weapon. Only the greatest fighter could use it.

Is that supposed to be incentive or something? [Yuri sounds both amused a carefully interested. He knows bait when he hears it.] Sounds like it's more trouble than it's worth.

I guess you can't handle it. It's okay, nobody else can, either.

And let me guess, I shouldn't ask what it is either.

It's not gonna bite me, is it? [He'll finish tidying up now, leaning against a table and listening to that singsong voice with a raised eyebrow. There's a trick here, he knows it. But... well, he doesn't really wanna leave anyone stuck with the discard situation.]

No no, it's not alive. And you can do anything you want with it. It's called 'Imagination'.

I don't think my imagination is the kind I should let out. [Interpret that how you will.] Are you okay with me being your player though?

If you want. It'd be nice to have my permissions again. My last player gave me all of them. Could I?

I think that's my line. After all that bragging, I'm definitely giving your weapon a shot. [Trick or no. Besides, how bad could it be?] But sure, I'll protect you.

[That should do it, right?]

[The mark forms on her hand and she grins.]

[On that note, Yuri heads over to his "desk" and starts rummaging around the drawers, looking for a pen and paper. It takes him a little while and he undoubtedly messes up the drawer to the point that it has trouble closing, but he does eventually get what he's looking for and quickly scribbles a note.

Something like rebecca has my permission for whatever. YL.

Undeniably eloquent. He then hands the messily scrawled on piece of paper to her.] That'll work, right?

[She takes the note and pockets it somewhere safe.]

...Do you want me to buy a PDA? I don't know if I have enough, I have ten raks...
