[It definitely struck her as odd that Marisa hadn't seen Jade except when she was needed for battle. Other than that? Nope, nowhere. Even looking for her around Fortitude didn't yield any results. But she had neglected to contact Jade by PDA. Mainly because she was still conflicted about the fact someone tried to make friends with her. Friendship was an odd thing for Marisa at this point.

But it wouldn't hurt to just contact her. She was beginning to get a little concerned. (Concerned? That's new.)]

[ Jade hasn't been going to classes because Dave is in classes. And she doesn't really want to see him around, so the cafeteria is out, as is going downtown or walking around the school. The reply takes a long time to return. ]

because i was mean to someone who is my best friend
and now he isnt going to speak to me ever again
so i put myself in a closet to make sure i cant ever see him
because seeing him when he wont talk to me would be sad :(

i mean, i told him i never wanted to talk to him again because i was upset that he left me behind to die at home
but that was the worst idea in the world and now i feel really bad about it
