Location: The gym on Fortitude campus.
Summary: So there's a massive room carpeted in mattresses and covers and pillows and people are bringing food and there will probably be pillow fights.

Sora had perhaps had too much time on her hands. She hadn't gone down to the train station on time, having been preoccupied putting up posters, but she had at least met some of the new arrivals in the resulting storm of questions and comments on the computers. Which had occupied her for another hour or so. All in all, she hadn't had that much time to actually set up the room, but she'd had enough. With the help of friends and even some amiable NPCs, she'd managed to drag enough mattresses into the gym that it looked like they were going to be learning judo rather than sleeping. Food was yet to arrive beyond a pile of snacks and drinks she'd liberated from the cafeteria at lunch, but she had faith in Yuki, Feferi and the others that they'd pull through.

She'd even managed to get packs of balloons from Recette for a few raks. These were strewn liberally around the edges of the room. The shower and bathroom facilities were fully stocked with towels and there were alarm clocks so they could still get to the assemblies in the morning. They were ready.

All in all, Sora was proud of how well it had turned out. Now all she needed was people.

Yuki had arrived a few minutes prior, she had brought her own batch of food, cupcakes mostly, which were mixed in with Feferi's cupcakes and now Koharu's food. She scoots over to Koharu, Yuki being a few mattresses away, and stops when they each have their own next to each other, "I think maybe Sora asked Dolorosa for some help getting them."

"Yeah! She let us take them from spare rooms and storage." Sora didn't so much scoot as barrel over and do a full-body flop onto the mattress closest to them. "Wah, I'm a little tired from running around so much now..."

"Do you think so? I imagine she'd have to to get this many."

Koharu put her hands in her lap and surveys the room. Not many people here yet, hopefully that would change.

"Dolorosa is the headmistress at Fortitude right?"

Yuki is looking around too, there are a few people but the night is still young and surely more people will come, and drag their friends along with them. She wasn't worried about no one showing up, Sora has so much enthusiasm it's hard to stay away.

"Yes, she is. I hear that she is very kind, much kinder than Day and Santana."

"It might have been nice to have had her for a headmistress then." Koharu glances around a few times to make sure Santana isn't around to hear. Not that she's sure that Santana has much loyalty to Day or Conquest.

"It's still hard to believe it's all random."

Yuki tilts her head a bit, "What do you mean? Do you think there is some kind of overarching system that separates us? I wonder what the guidelines would be..." the wheels in her head start turning. Could she work out a way to legitimize the separation?

"No I don't think there is, but that makes the random seperation even weirder...Hee, you're already thinking about it, right?"

Koharu tucks her knees up and watches Yuki think.

She laughs nervously, "Yes I am. There needs to be some reason behind the separation and reasons why some people go to one school and others go to another. If we can understand that we may be able to understand more about where we are and what we're doing."

Koharu sighed and shook her head, biting her lip to hold back a few thoughts. After all, little about this made sense so why would the reasoning behind why someone was sent one place or another make any more sense?

"Perhaps. The rule book didn't give any reason."

"I think the rule book was purposefully vague about some things, maybe we are supposed to figure them out on our own."
