Estonia wasn't exactly known for leading diplomatic discussion, so it was a bit of a sense of pride that she had managed to talk at least what she assumed to be the other nations here into a meeting. Perhaps things wouldn't be so bad here after all, if she could get plenty of recognition and... who was she kidding? She missed her people and her sisters and friends, particularly now that Latvia had gone missing from Conquest. She had Lithuania and Ukraine, at least, so that would have to do.

She's early for the meeting, of course, after having sent everyone reminder messages of it before she left the campus. Don't be late!

Alemania is always mad. Ay, you wouldn't know that he and Prusia were related at all, you know?

No, I'm aware of that. Prussia is Germany's "big brother," right?

That's what Prusia says. ( Though, Spain's always had his suspicions. . . but that's a topic no one really wants to speak of. ) But the two are so different you wouldn't know they were!

Hmm... do you think he's lying about that?

Ah, well, you know how it is with us, no? Families are complicated things.

[At that remark she unwittingly thinks of Canada, America and England and makes the strangest little face.]

I guess. [And then she falls quiet because she reaaaally wouldn't know.]

( Typical Spain does not notice. )

But even if it's very complicated, it doesn't change what is, you know? Family is still family. . . even if you don't really want to be.

Do you have a family? [The question is sudden and abrupt because A, she can't remember and B, she really wish he'd stop talking about what having a family is like. It's not something she has or can relate to so it's extremely difficult to understand what he's talking about.]

Mhmm. ( And Spain gets a rather silly look on his face, smiling to himself as he remembers them. ) There are the Americas and Filipinas and then in Europe there's Portugal and Francia and Roma and Veneciano. . .

( And he could list forever. Austria and Hungary and Belgium and Netherlands even though the list would have to get more complicated as he continued. )

[Well that backfired.]

That's a pretty big list. [And for some reason, that stupidly happy look he's sporting bothers her.]

It is! Some times I can't remember everyone. I wonder if they've noticed I'm gone. ( Probably not. But that doesn't mean he can't worry about them. ) Hey, Britannia, let's work hard to get home and see our friends and family again, okay.

[At the mention of going home, Britannia seems even less enthusiastic about this conversation. All she has to go home to is the death of a boss she really doesn't like and the crowning of a boss she likes even less. The latter of whom will eventually dissolve her empire. YEP. Fun times.]

Hmm... but we don't know how to do that, so why stress yourself out trying to figure out the impossible? [... wait, this conversation suddenly seems backwards.]

( He notices that change in attitude and he throws an arm over her shoulder, grinning cheerfully, )

Don't give up, Britannia. Everything will work out, trust me.

[Giving up? Oh, she supposes her last statement could have been taken that way. More or less she was just expressing hesitation in hurrying back home. Honestly, Rakuen is a little like a vacation in her opinion and she really doesn't see the need to go back just yet. Oh well, this is clearly not the case for the every optimistic Spain.]

You say that like it's so easy.

Oh, I never said it was going to be easy. ( He chuckles at her insinuation. ) I just said everything would work out in the end.

Isn't that a little too carefree? [She doesn't understand you Spain. You're weak, conquered (in her world) and helpless and you still maintain such a happy spirit. It's a little irritating.]
