Anyone wandering past the White dorm this unspecified afternoon will be treated to a loving adaptation of a Pink Floyd song for solo violin. Options include Interstellar Overdrive and anything from Wish You Were Here.

Sherlock finds it very disturbing that he forgets the feeling of playing a note almost as soon as he raises his bow from the strings, but he's not about to let that stop him. Nor is he about to shut his window for the sake of passersby. The music is clearly audible. Anyone who wishes to register a comment, positive or negative, is welcome to stop by his window or knock on his door for a chat.

Suzaku frowned, hearing the music as he made his way past the dormotorie buildings to go and meet Gino, it was getting close to the time his Player had told him to meet, dreading the meeting or not Suzaku was determined to get there on time. He was a little confused at what building was which but he was sure this one was maybe the Pale dorm. Maybe, or was it not.

Suzaku saw the open window in which the music was coming from, he made his way over. Surely someone who lived in the dorm would be able to tell him, he stood stiffly not wanting to interupt, waiting to be noticed.

He is noticed almost immediately, but only acknowledged a good half-minute later as the last note of the song fades away.

"Afternoon," says Sherlock, lowering the violin and looking out the window. "Can I help you?"

Suzaku was quite impressed by the music, he had never heard anyone play so well, well apart from on television. He smiled politely when he was finally aknowledged. "Afternoon, sir, I was wondering if this is the Pale Dorm?" He hoped it was, he would feel like an idiot if it wasn't but all the buildings looked very similar from the outside.

"No. That would be the one diagonally opposite this building."

"Oh" So the one in the completely oposite direction from the Black dorm, Suzaku's dorm, then he had came. Suzaku felt stupid but this place was new and it was difficult to find your way around, he thought there had been a map in the manual but he hadn't read the entire thing in detail yet.

"Thank you," he smiled again with another polite nod and then paused, "You play the violin very well." He was still very formal and he felt a bit stupid saying it the moment the words had came out of his mouth, the man probably was aware of how well he played the violin.

"I do," he admits, smiling. "It is an interest of mine."

Suzaku nodded politely again and made to move away from the window, he really should get going and let the man get back to his violin, but he wanted to know as much information about this new place as possible, even if it was just to pass onto Lelouch who could work things out quicker. Names were a good start, the more people who they knew, the more allies they had the more chances of getting out of this place they had been brought to. "I am...Suzaku by the way," the pause was because his family name was missing, he could not remember it and it annoyed him.

"Sherlock Holmes."

He knows Suzaku's surname—he knows every name of every participant enrolled in this bizarre institution—but he doesn't see a need to bring it up.

Suzaku nodded politely again, "Pleased to meet you Mr Sherlock Holmes. Thank you again for the directions." He turned round and began to set off back the way he came, time to find the Pale dorm, find Gino and hope that Gino didn't ask too many difficult questions.
