[Vriska, true to her words, is shirking the rules to go hang out with her human in the other school. But she's not stupid enough that she's strutting in like she owns the place. She's doing the Sneaky Thing, slipping quietly along the hallways as she searches for the placard with his name. She's even put up her wings for the occasions so they don't leave pixie dust trails everywhere. And when she finally does she just grabs for the handle to try opening it because what is privacy. Is it unlocked?]

[Take it like a man, John. B| She's hasn't slept since the middle of last week.

She grins, rolling her eyes.]

We'll sneak around, duh. We can go outside and wander around the City and no one will catch us. You worry way too much.

[Jeez Vriska at this rate you'll make John nocturnal.]

Well, if you're sure, then I guess I'll go. Are we just looking around the city?

That's what I like to hear, John.

[She nods, shrugging.]

Yep, just around. It's called exploring and doing reconnaissance, something you should learn to do more often. Get dressed and meet me outside your respiteblock.

[And then she's leaving the room. She can respect some privacy.]

[Well, it wasn't exactly any use arguing with her anyway, John knew it was hard to win an argument against Vriska, if not impossible.

So he got dressed as quietly as he could, being sure not to wake up his roomies, and snuck out the door, shutting it behind him.] Okay, let's go.

[She's lingering by the doorway, waiting on him. Turning to him when he exits the room, she nods and waves him along to follow her through the shadowy parts of the hallway, shoes in her hand so they don't make noise against the floor.]

Do what I do, Egbert, and try to keep up.

[Okay, do what she does. That means taking off his shoes (which he just put on) and holds onto them. This sneaky thing isn't exactly one of John's best attributes, though he's somewhat good at it for pranking. It's at least easy to do since he just has to mimic her path throughout the hallway.]

[She glances back at him occasionally to make sure he isn't falling behind, or worse, getting caught by a wandering Prefect. She's confident in her own ability to not get caught, but she's not so sure about John's.

The rest of the sneaking out is done in silence, and when they've finally cleared the building, she slides her shoes back on and rolls her shoulders. Yeah, she's just that good.]

[John on the other hand had been looking around as he followed Vriska. Just to make sure no Prefects were around. It's not like he didn't believe in Vriska's sneaking ability. It's just that this was the first time he had to sneak past people who had some literal control over this place.

On go the shoes again on his end, as well.]

I guess not! So where to first?

Off this lawn ring first. Then we'll head towards the lake. We'll have to cross the whoooooooole city that way, since it's over near Fortitude. I hope you weren't expecting to get back to sleep any time soon.

[She sneers, because she still thinks the amount of time humans sleep is actually ridiculous. It's probably a cultural difference, but well. She can't help feeling superior about needing less sleep to operate.]

[He had expected that, at least.] I figured that when you woke me up. [But he isn't complaining!]

It'll take us a while to walk there. The city's pretty big. I don't think I've seen a lot of it yet.

I know that, Egbert. I walked all the way over here, remember? Consider this your city tour! And you've got Vriska Serket as your guide. You should count yourself lucky, I don't just give these tours to everyone.

[She tosses her hair in a suitably sassy fashion, smirking over at him as she starts walking again. She still mostly keeps to the shadows while their still on Conquest grounds.]

Well, thanks for the tour! [Honestly he IS excited about it. Just. He's still kind of half asleep. Slowly waking up kinda thing. The sneaking around did most of the work. The rest is up to time.]

No problem! But pay attention, because you'll only get one.

[Once they're off Conquest grounds, she takes to walking like she owns the streets. No shame or sneaking now, she's pretty convinced they won't get caught out here. And if the see someone else, they can always duck out of sight. It's no big deal.]
