An arrival [Open]
Characters: Mai Tokiha, whoever
Format: Action or prose as desired~
This log is: open
Location: Courtyard, just inside from the Entrance
Summary: Mai, a new weapon, has arrived just in time for Round -1...
Warnings: ...none so far?
...This is all rather confusing.
Mai stopped herself just outside of the Entrance, where she is now resting at a bench as she tries to piece together what exactly is going on. She's still wearing her Fuuka Academy uniform, idly looking down at the leather bag on her lap.
Between the videos she saw and the dream from the tram, this place seems even weirder than the last school she transferred to. For one, Mai doesn't remember anything about transferring here. It's all so fuzzy, her memory, between Fuuka Academy and this place. Did her parents transfer her here? And why? Sure, if they had been worried about her being a HiME...but she hadn't told them, had she? And what about T-.....her brother? He wasn't coming here with her, was he? Was he back in Fuuka or did he return to Tokyo to take care of his heart?
And all her friends, and fellow HiME... Don't they need her there? She doesn't remember saying goodbye. She doesn't remember anything after...after what happened to Nao.
But one thing bothers Mai the most: Why can't she remember her brother's name? He's her only brother...
That woman in the video did say something about regaining memories...but they can't just be stolen like that, can they?
"What is going on here!?" she demands of no one, sighing to herself.

"No one really knows," she replied, trying her best to be helpful.

Mai tries to look unconcerned with a smile, no need to worry this girl. Only her face doesn't quite make it all the way there. Her lips contort ineffectively before settling into a rather neutral expression. Still, her voice manages to take on a somewhat upbeat tone as she addresses the girl. "I-Is that so? Have you been going to school here for long?"

It's mostly a rhetorical question though, as she quickly changes her tone to be friendly again. "Sorry...I'm Mai by the way. Mai Tokiha." Still lacking a smile though.

She shrugs. "I'm Reiko Date. It's nice to meet you." Not much of a smile here. Reiko would rather people didn't have to come here.

"A zaibatsu, huh? But they're not the people running this school? Do you know who is?"

Wait, what was it they had to do? There was something, wasn't there...? But she couldn't think of what it was, so her voice trailed off.
