Characters:Tavros Nitram and Vriska Serket, backdated to arrival day
Format: Prose
This log is: closed
Location: Black 1-B
Summary: Tavros is the last person she was expecting to see.
Warnings: Awkward...ness... Also language probably.
Vriska was burrowed in a coccoon of blankets, still trying to recreate the comfort of her recuperacoon. But between the fact that she's actually having to sleep at night to jive with the human schedule here and the fact that it's just not the same, she wasn't having any luck getting to sleep. She was the Thief of Light and she still didn't have any damn luck. It was like the world was specifically trying to spite her with this irony. She threw off the covers in a huff of irritation and sat back up. Another night without sleep, even though she'd tried to go to bed while her roommates were out and there was still daylight to trick herself. Well, she had better things she could be doing anyway. Her irons weren't going to keep themselves hot. She'd start by studying those language books again. It was only a matter of time before her roommates came back and she'd have to discreetly hide them again.

Tavros has a bit of trouble with the door-- it's closed, and it's up higher than he's used to. So with a bit of stretching and shifting around, he finally manages to nudge it open.

He's thinking about how weird it is for these people to sleep during the night and how downright bizarre it is to walk around while the sun is shining. He's thinking an idle thought like that when he sees Vriska and stops in his tracks.

There is fear on his face and then also, somehow, relief: he believed what Gamzee told him without a doubt but seeing Vriska alright is another thing entirely. He's scared because he didn't manage to kill her like she wanted him to, and she will probably be mad about that. And relieved because his friend is okay after that brutal beating. There isn't even a trace of it on her.

Saying nothing, staying silent. He slowly wheels closer, eyes not leaving Vriska's face.
