Uncertain what to do, Huashi started to gently scrub a kiwi of its fluff in preparation to eat it.

"I dunno. She doesn't smell sick enough, I think. Maybe you should ask!" Huashi frowned in concentration, not happy that she seemed to have failed in her attempt at reassuring Kotarou.

"I don't think it's a bad sickness though. It'd probably smell worse if it was," she said after a while, reasonably certain this was true. The most important thing was that it cheered Kotarou up though.
tenwholeryou: (dammit now I feel guilty.)

"Right," Kotarou watched her with the kiwi for a bit, expression drawing into a determined scowl from his previous fear. This place was really rich, and maybe they'd treat anyone who got sick, like any decent master or owner. Ichi was strong, and willing to fight. They'd want her alive.

And Huashi was looking upset, which meant he in turn felt a little guilty.

"I'll ask her today!" He took a gulp of juice with the same resolve, "And tell her to get medicine. She'll listen to me."

Huashi nodded, relieved Kotarou had turned to determination instead of looking downcast. Then she paused with the kiwi halfway to her mouth, mouth also open in preparation for the delicious, delicious fruit. She just had a revelation. So to speak.

"What if she doesn't know. You're gonna have to find someone here who can tell her what sort of sick she is, then!" It didn't enter Huashi's mind at all that telling someone who didn't know they were sick that they might be wasn't something you did just like that.

"We'll slove it!" Huashi said with a determined nod and finally finished her fruit-to-mouth arc and put the kiwi where it was supposed to go.
