Waking up from comas (closed)
Characters: Nanashi and KotarouIt had been a long week. Nanashi still was no closer in knowing why he was here or why Kotarou had somehow gotten here a month before him, and was in a coma. He had concentrated on playing this game of theirs, earning money and teaching like he had been told to. When he hadn't been fighting or teaching he had been at Kotarou's bedside. The kid showed no change from when Nanashi had first seen him a week ago.
Format: Prose
This log is: Closed
Location: Fortitude Infirmary
Summary: Nanashi has been sat at Kotarou's bedside when not teaching or fighting, Kotaro wakes up
Warnings:
There were no lessons today, and no fights either and so Nanashi hadn't left this room. Of course Kotarou would never know how much time he had spent here, Nanashi would never tell him. "You're a pain kid, you know that?"

The world snapped back into place, and his mouth clicked shut as he remembered where he was. And where his bodyguard wasn't. He tried to scramble upright, but was defeated by the deadly combination of heavy infirmary blankets and his limbs all being defiantly asleep.
"You!"

As the kid tried to move he lifted an eyebrow and reached out to push him back into a lying position. "Can't even last a month without me huh?"

He reached into his rucksack to show off the glint of raks. "This place pays better."

"You're a Player? For what school? And how long have you been here, anyway?" He'd checked every time the train had arrived, after all.

"You have an illness, that's why... that dog of yours is always around. To help you if you faint." He explained as clearly as he could.

"It's Kotarou," he said, instead. "Not 'kid'. You'd better not've forgotten my name!"

He was joking, and trying not to laugh at the image of Kotaro in a bar never mind a bar fight.
