Class - Puppy Training!

Summary: Class is in session and it promises to be adorable.

[Today, students who meant to attend Rafiel's class (which up until this point has been purely textbook, video and oral based,) will probably be surprised to find the classroom door is closed with a note taped to it.



Should they choose to do so, when they get to the arena the area seems unusually... noisy. Especially since there's no battle going at the moment. Get closer to the center of the stadium and they'll find the arena's gates have been shut but are currently unlocked, presumably to allow students in. Beyond that, however, are... puppies. Everywhere. Yapping, tumbling all over each other or napping and being harassed by their siblings and fellow furry kinsmen. There's a shallow kiddie pool on the far end filled with water, presumably to keep them hydrated, and above that in the stands and surrounded by a plethora of napping dogs is Rafiel who seems to be singing quietly to keep the ones around him calm.

Beside him are various boxes which, at a first glance, seem to be filled with anything and everything you could ever need to take care of one of the furballs running around behind the gate. (The dog treats have been hidden in air-tight containers at the bottom.)

Welcome to the hands-on portion of puppy training.]


[ooc: This log is open to anyone from either Conquest or Fortitude, students and teachers alike. (Although, only Fortitudians will be able to keep their puppy companion. Conquesters looking to do the same will have to start attending his class.) If you you have a preferred puppy breed, feel free to bring it in. (Real or otherwise.) If not, pick one from the list! After which, go nuts. Mingle, threadjack, hold competitions, bicker about whose puppy is cuter and hold races. I'll pretend I know what I'm doing.]

What are yo-- [ OH NO.

THIS IS TERRIBLE. WHY ARE YOU DOUSING THOSE PUPPIES IN WATER-- oh spirits the guy's fallen into the fiendish liquid too this is an unmitigated tragedy.

BRB sprinting over to pull you away from the water, whoever you are. OKAY you're out. You aren't in immediate danger. And then let's get all of these puppies away from it too. They aren't that happy about this but it's for their own good. ]

[Yuri, who was in the process of rubbing water out of his eyes while the eskimo puppy sits on his head, immediately puts a hand up to steady it as someone yanks him out.]

Whoa-! Relax, it's only ankle deep- [Wait. He knows that voice.] You gotta be kidding me...

Even the slightest amount can be dangerous. [ calm yourself random citizen. Oh no you're covered in water! luckily he has a waistcoat he can pull off and dry your head with. STAY STIL--

wait that voice. ]

Yuri?

[ still drying you though. The danger isn't over. ]

No, it's Ioder. [/end sarcasm] Care to let me up?

I've told you before to be more careful. [ NO. NO GETTING UP UNTIL YOU'RE DRY YOUNG MAN. ]

Oh yeah? Well I keep telling you water isn't dangerous. [But Yuri knows by now that in 3... 2... 1...]

[ in fact, Flynn is already starting to haze over due to Yuri being totally fine. His words only drastically speed up the process. ] Of course it-- Huh?

[ ping. Reset.

He pushes Flynn into the pool.]

[All the barking and yapping and splashing is just beautiful. Don't mind Yuri cracking up over here as he watches Flynn suffer horribly.

Although he should probably get him out before the memory loop makes him pass out. ... again.]

[ There's a spaniel on my head what is happening. The puppies actually manage to distract him mid-memory wipe, so he lasts a bit longer than usual. He even manages to make an indignant, semi-flustered noise at Yuri's laughter.

Yeah you should probably get on with that, what little there is of Flynn's eyes still visible through the mountain of puppies is hazing over again. ]

[Oh geez. With a noise that's a mix between a snort and a resigned sigh, Yuri wades into the puppies and the pool and grabs one of Flynn's arms while simultaneously digging into his pocket.

When he pulls his hand back out, it contains what appears to be a handful of doggy treats. With a sharp whistle, he sends them flying with a casual toss which, helpfully, manages to disperse maybe... a third of the dogs mauling the knight. At least enough for him to start pulling Flynn to his feet, anyway.]
