It was highly inconvenient timing that put him in this bed. He didn't know nor care about what glitch that did it. He was going to dismantle it all the same.
But he didn't really have time to digest that right away. Because the first thing he saw when he woke up was Britannia's sleeping face. He made a most undignified squawk, and struggled to free himself, but she was quite well attached. He tried to shove at her, but he only had one arm free. "Britannia! Wake up!" It was nearly an order.

And in her dream, the tiny little bunny she was holding her arms batted at her with its floppy ears.At Lelouch's (rather amusing) noise, Britannia's eyes slowly opened, boring into his. After a long, slow blink as the realization of where she was and what was happening started to sink in, she gave a low sigh and, quite frankly? Nuzzled him a moment longer before pulling back, yawning.
Guess this means my vacation is over. She thought blankly, drawing away to the edge of the bed and stretching.
"Good morning." She finally added, smiling at him innocently.

As she pulled her own PDA out of her pocket to check the time, she gave a little shrug and answered after a moment: "A few hours."

Since he felt fine, he swung his legs out of bed and went to collect his uniform that had been neatly folded nearby.

Although she decided not to mention that she hadn't been dropping by as frequently as she should have been either. That would be her own little secret.

He began to change behind one of the privacy curtains for one of the other beds. His silhouette could be vaguely seen on the fabric. "I'll let everyone know I'm awake once I leave here."

She really need to make him eat more. He was so.... skinny.
"Let's stop by the cafeteria too." She added casually with a yawn. "I wouldn't mind a cup of tea."

"It's kind of amazing." She added, looking at their reflection. "You're going to cause so much chaos and ruin, and I could snap your neck right now." She remarked absently in a kind of voice one would use to remark on the weather.

"I was just thinking how fragile you really are."

"Do not say that to me ever again," he replied, a bit of a bite in his voice. It was definitely an order.

For a moment she considered the order and the man who had given it to her, wondering what she had done to warrant such a thing. That Lelouch didn't like her was no secret between the two of them. (Nor to anyone else who paid any attention to them.) But he usually took such painstaking care to treat her with at least some civility, if only to make it seem like they were equals to the outside world. So this sudden hostility came as something of a surprise to her.
Then again, he was Britannian, so even he must have some pride in his strength, right? Her statement must have been viewed as offensive, hence, his hostility. With that curiosity solved (as far as she was concerned, anyway) she replied in slightly contrite tones: "As you wish."

(You get the idea.)
"Back to work." She murmured softly to herself.
