New Arrivals (All new characters)

You're falling, and you can't remember why. It's a sickening feeling that makes your insides lurch; the darkness and the vertigo combine, and all you can think of is a story you heard once, somewhere.

Ah, I remember now. It's... a simple story that everyone knows. A legend of a Princess, the Demon Lord who kidnapped her, and the Knight who fought to save her. The Demon Lord had kidnapped the Princess countless times, but every time the Knight bested his challenges and rescued the Princess. No matter what tricks and ploys the Demon Lord used, the Knight would always triumph in the end. This was because--

The world tilts on its axis one last time, and the dream slips from your mind as easily as it arrived. A new voice intrudes on your sleep. Mechanical, monotonous.

"Next stop: Rakuen City. This train terminates here. The next stop is Rakuen. All change." The train rocks steadily. Fog envelopes the windows, obstructing your view and reminding you of an unsettling dream simultaneously. The air is humid inside the carriages, a vent beside your feet heating the air and making the seats almost uncomfortably warm. A puff of steam from the train winds its way lazily past the windows, a slightly different shade and consistency as the grey fog.

It's strangely difficult to shake off the sleep; the rhythm of the train seems to lull you back into slumber and the air is warm and heavy, making it hard to keep hold of a thought. Finally, though, the nausea settles, the last of the dream fades and you can take in your surroundings. And, perhaps more importantly, those around you in a similar state. The train judders to a stop, the shape of buildings and people only now barely visible as shadows beyond the windows.

"We have arrived at Rakuen City. All passengers must leave the train. This train is terminating here. This is Rakuen."

It had been a long, long time since Aradia had ever been tired. Being trapped in a robotic body and also being a ghost did that to you. In a way, it was a little refreshing. It meant she was alive.

Her memory was a little foggy. She remembered the Green Sun, reuniting with the survivors of both sessions, sending off the meteor... but as for how she arrived at this station, she hadn't a clue. Maybe it was another dream bubble? It seemed to be the most likely answer. It looked like a more human place, so maybe she just had to find the human that dreamt it.

When the train stopped she flitted up, hovering just a few inches off the floor with her big, red butterfly wings. It was a little difficult to manoeuvre in the tight space. Hopefully, she wouldn't accidentally knock anyone over with her wings.

Alex was just the person that would get knocked over by Aradia's wings, though it wasn't through any fault of her own. He was looking through the bag he found with him, and consequentially not paying attention to anything else. One minute the space behind Aradia was empty, the next, both Alex and her wing attempted to occupy the same space -- her wing won.

He blinked up from the ground, staring in mild confusion at the giant grey-skinned faerie floating in front of him. He meant to say sorry, but instead he just said, "W-woah."

Wow, no one saw that coming! Of course, Aradia noticed that she just smacked someone off their feet, probably showering him with sparkly dust in the process. It would be kind of hard not to. She turned herself around, feeling a little embarrassed of her carelessness.

"Oh, jeez! I'm sorry!" she said as she landed, crouching down to offer a hand. "Here, let me help you up."

Alex eyed her hand suspiciously for a moment, before deciding to take it and stand. Alex dusted off his pants, then his palms before finally looking back up at Aradia, shy. Alex was feeling just as embaressed about his own carelessness. He hadn't been watching where he was going, after all. "I-it's okay, 'm n-not hurt, b-besides, I w-wasn' paying attention. Th-thanks...."
