Summary: Shion and Becca go on a picnic, they invite everyone! Tag them, tag each other. Have a food fight!

Shion had spent all his time after work baking. He still couldn't remember how to make cherry pie but he had made some bread rolls and a selection of cakes. He and Becca were taking Mop and Monster on a walk, and for a picnic.

Of course everyone else was invited, Shion asked anyone he saw that day in Fortitude or at work along, and they asked people on the way to the woods.

They found a clearing in the woods and started handing out food. Fending off Mop and Monster who wanted to share the picnic too.

"Sorry, didn't mean to startle you," she offered after seeing his jump. Still, she smiled cheerily when he indicated the picnic. "Me and Shion wanted to have a picnic, but we started inviting everybody. Want some? It's for sharing," she insisted, going over to the food to start making a plate for him.

Shion saw Dave and waved going over. Of course Shion being Shion noticed that his glasses were different. "Hello Dave!" It was almost becoming instinct to check his face for bruises now.

Oh, well. Today Dave has some purdy little scratches on his face. This kid is just always fighting apparently.

He kind of just steadily makes his way over to the table curiously.

Becca dishes up some coleslaw and devilled eggs before stopping to read what Dave's written. She laughs softly, but holds the plate out to him to finish filling. "Just being nice. I know you need your hands to be able to talk."

Shion frowned worriedly but didn't mention it for now. He just smiled and followed them over to the table. "Did you buy new sunglasses?"

They're...eggs or some kind. They have stuff in them I think???

He takes the plate, eying the food and looking around for utensils. Dave's strange need to decimate his food before eating it will never stop being a thing.

He places the plate back onto the table so he can type again.

"Your sister's here?" Becca asked in surprise. It was like a gut punch. He had his sister here, and she couldn't even remember her brother's name or face.

Wait.

What if her brother was here and she just didn't recognise him?

Shion smiled and nodded, punctuation or not he knew what he was saying and he knew Dave's sister, they had fought before and Shion had lost (obviously). He guessed what he was looking for and grabbed a fork that he had borrowed from the kitchens, since not everything could be easily eaten with hands.

Becca had to look away from the tablet at Dave's explanation. She pressed her eyes shut, a creepy, awful feeling going down her spine. Was her little brother here, feeling the same way, only wondering why she wasn't speaking to him? Would he describe her the same way? Probably. She functionally was his mother in all but the literal sense. She was getting emotional, and that was stupid.

Shion glanced at Becca wondering what was wrong and back at Dave to read the rest of the text. He hadn't known that, Sis didn't seem like any kind of mum... Shion thought about his own mum and looked down for a moment before looking at both of them worriedly, attempting to put a hand on each of their shoulders.

Dave glanced at Becca, but didn't try anything. Mostly because he had no idea what her family life was and he didn't want to pry. It seemed kind of depressing, which wasn't the point of this whole picnic thing.

"Because not enough people are accusing Shion of being my boyfriend," Becca said with a laugh, trying to break her sour mood that thinking about her little brother had brought.

Shion blushed bright red. "We thought it would be nice for everyone to relax... after all the fighting..."

Of course Dave is going to tease. He finally starts eating his food once he's satisfied that he's completely ruined what it is.

Becca's teasing was one thing, but Dave took it to the next level. She flushed bright red and hid her face in Shion's shoulder.
