Summary: Lemina explores the tower.

With that tower unlocked and ripe for entering, Lemina wasn't about to pass it up. What if there was gold or treasure in there? Or, you know, a way home. On Saturday afternoon, sometime after the train had arrived, Lemina entered the tower to look around.

The weapons littering the floor were the first thing that caught her eye. That was... a little disturbing. Cautiously, she picked up a sword -- she'd gotten sort of okay with them since she'd arrived, though she didn't stand a chance against one of the more experienced fighters here -- and proceeded through the tower.

That made sense as well, Shion nodded. He went over to examine the chair, "Probably, lots of people's weapons aren't really like weapons at all."

[pennypincher]

"Yeah, that would explain all the junk lying around too." She sighs. "Do you think Recette would buy any of these weapons if we brought them to the store?"

Shion nodded and then frowned, looking at her sharply. "I don't think she takes stolen goods."

[pennypincher]

"Stolen? Um, I think you mean found. It's all right here!"

[savedbyasong]

"But it belongs to someone! The tower or the staff, it might belong to Recette already! She sells Weapons, this might be where she keeps them!"

[pennypincher]

"Towers aren't people. Besides, I have experience with this stuff! If you go into a new area and there's stuff lying around, it's free to take and use or sell or whatever. I've done this tons of times before."

[savedbyasong]

"You have?" Because in Shion's world going into a new area, taking stuff and selling it counted as thieving and you could be punished for it. "Well... it wasn't in the manual..."

[pennypincher]

"Yep!" Okay, so this stuff isn't in chests, but it's still the same basic concept, right? "Lots of stuff's not in the manual. Trust me, Shion."

Shion frowned again but nodded, after all if she had done this before... She probably knew more than him. "Alright... I guess it will be fine then."

[pennypincher]

"We'll pick 'em up on the way out. I don't want to haul all this junk up and down the stairs."

And she starts up toward the third floor.

Shion nodded, that was a good idea, and followed her up the stairs. "What do you think we will find?"

[pennypincher]

"Well, it's just been a bunch of weapons so far. Wouldn't it be cool if there were diamonds and gems and blocks of gold, too?" Her eyes light up at her own suggestion and there's a sudden bounce to her step. "Or priceless ancient artifacts! That would be mega awesome!"

[savedbyasong]

"I guess, there might be." Her enthusiasm was infectious and he smiled following her up the stairs.

He looked around, more weapons. "Wouldn't the jewels be locked away somewhere?"

[pennypincher]

"Probably in treasure chests. But I haven't seen any of those yet-- ah!"

Lemina's eyes light upon a small jade talisman and she scrambles to go pick it up. "Now this is something!"

Shion followed her over, that didn't look like a Weapon, though neither had the chair. It looked valuable though. "Do you think it was a Weapon as well?"

[pennypincher]

"I don't know. I wonder..." She quietly tucks it into a pocket and continues onward.

Shion paused and then hurried after her. "You wonder what?"
