Conquest Round 10 Start

After the festivities of Saturday students would awaken once again to messages on the screens asking them to report to assembly at 12. Santana once again would be picking up stragglers.

Day looked smug, stood on the stage surrounded by the ever growing number of prefects, Flynn, Cino, Kevin, Suzaku, Golbez and Gino.

She stepped forward, "Good morning everyone, and welcome to our new students who joined us yesterday," yes Day was indeed in a good mood. She took a bite of cake before she continued.

"I am sure you will be pleased to hear you are joining the superior school. I would like to congratulate all of you who took part in the tournament for our victory," The battle records came up on the screen behind her and she beamed. "I would especially like to congratulate Arthur who beat Sis, Dave and then Daenerys to come third. Duzell who beat Jadesprite, David and Arthur to come second and Stellaluna who beat Nunnally, Anya, Deanerys and Duzell to come first. You have made our school proud.

"A further congratulations to Samuel who made it through the first round and to Kotaro who fought outside the tournament, beating Dirk Strider. Also to Jade Harley who beat the tournament champion, Stellaluna."

She smiled again, "I hope that those picked this round will continue to work hard and bring us to victory once more." The battle record disappeared and the player list came up. Day read the names aloud.

He's clearly never met a deep-sleep stoner clown before. Gamzee is sleeping right through that, and in the middle of his quiet snoring is a very loud, very realistic honking noise.

No but he has met his brother, and he figures Gamzee is less likely to beat him up for waking him... hopefully...

"Come on!" Tugging at his arm, "Stop snoring and honking you got to wake up!"

Huhwhut... okay. Gamzee blinks awake very slowly, basically unmoved by the tugging, and yawns with another honking noise.

"Shit, bro... don't gotta all up and rush a motherfucker like that...."

"Misses Day will get mad if you sleep though, and you don't want a headache, they hurt!" He stops the tugging though and just stands hands on hips in front of the man.

"Headache...?" he sits up, yawning again, and blinks sleepily at the... little boy? Okay. "Hey, little bro... what the motherfuck is up?"

"You were sleeping," Kotaro is indeed a tiny little boy, and he grins showing fangs. "You were meant to be listening to misses Day!"

And then Gmail refused to work on my computer. Which means tagging will be painfully slow.

"Aw fuck, man... the day is all up and talkin' to us now?" he chuckles at this, clearly having no clue what's going on and not quite summing up the brain power to care one way or another.
